We were driving down to Virginia from Michigan and randomly stopped here to try something new with a hometown vibe. Could not recommend this place any more!!!! We all were SHOCKED with how great the food was….and don’t even get me started on the Root-beer!!!!!!
Kinda pricey in my opinion but I was working in the area and don't get up this way too often so I figured I'd check it out. Seems like they have been in business since 1949 so obviously they are doing something right to stay open for so long seasonally.
Old school vibe where they still hang your tray off the side window. Good BBQ, even though they gave me the pulled pork sandwich instead of the brisket sandwich, I still enjoyed eheck out of it.
