We stopped in today after driving past the last few days delivering up the road and HOLY COW! 10/10 recommend!! We both got the pulled pork and it was AMAZING!!? It was the best bbq we’ve ever ate and the mac & cheese is so good too! We will definitely be back for more when we’re back up this way! Food was excellent!

The brisket was really, the ribs pretty good and the portion sizes were decent. The service was a little slow but I think they were short staffed. Our waitress was amazing!

I had the ribs with original sauce. The ribs were fall-apart tender, and not at all dry. The sauce was tangy and good. It came with a roll and veg. The veg was waaay overcooked broccoli boiled till it was white, but the ribs were so good I didn't mind much. The roll was fine, though it came with margarine rather than butter. The price was 10.99 for a quarter rack. Next time I'll get the half rack for just a couple dollars more. Grandson got Mac and cheese and a hotdog from the kid's menu. The pasta was bland and very soft, but maybe because it was for kids, but he likes hotdogs better anyway, and was not unhappy. The wait staff was outstanding.

Excellent bbq, all the way around, I had the sample platter, ribs, brisket, pork, and sausage, all very good meats! There was nothing left on the bone of the ribs, definitely a good spot for bbq! Hard to find in findlay.

Recently, my wife was talking to my aunt about the old South Side restaurant, when my aunt informed her about a new restaurant that moved into that location. When I heard about it, I knew we needed to try their food. We were not disappointed. The new owners revamped the inside a bit, adding a bar and redoing the floors. Honestly, it looks like they're bringing out the best in that location. There are remnants of the old restaurant, like the dessert board, which gives it a nice familiarity to those who used to frequent it. It also seems brighter inside, which is nice. The menu is what you'd expect from a BBQ restaurant, highlighting the smoked and sauced meats and sides, along with offering a variety of standard foods for those that may not want BBQ. My wife and I opted for the meal for two as well as the Porky Mac, which averaged out to be about $25 a person, with drink. Note: this was one of the most expensive items ($38 split between two people) on the menu, but you get more than a taste of all their BBQ specialities. When the food came, it was like they kept bringing dish after dish out. It included a half rack of ribs, a half chicken, two types of shredded meat, baked beans, French fries, and cole slaw. Everything, except for the Cole slaw, was perfectly smoked. The ribs and chicken had a BBQ sauce baked into the meat.We also received our Porky Mac, which was highly suggested by my aunt. The smoked pork played with the Mac and Cheese very well, making a delightful addition to our meal. Normally, the Porky Mac is a meal into itself, but we treated it like another side dish.Everything tasted wonderful. The ribs and chicken were my favorite. The beans tasted amazing, as did the Porky Mac. What's nice is that we took home two large and three small containers of leftovers, insuring us that we don't have to cook for the next day.I'm writing this after I've had some of the leftovers for lunch. They all tasted as good the next day as they did last night. To conclude, Southside Buckeye BBQ is a fantastic place to stop for some great food. It's a local business that's new to Findlay. They have won awards due to their BBQ. Do not waste time in supporting this establishment.
