Celebrated our 40th anniversary with a gift card from our thoughtful children. Atmosphere in the indoor dining room was very nice: brick walls, fresh flowers and votive candles with white table cloths and light piano music in the background. There is a more casual upstairs whiskey bar that serves upscale bar food and pizzas with your flights. Very nice small space with an outdoor balcony with tables for seasonal dining experience. Also a large patio dining area downstairs with the same menu as inside and live music on weekends. Our waitress, Christy, was very good and took great care of us. She was attentive but not intrusive at all. The food was excellent with decent portions. It is a pricey place, but we felt the meal was worthy. The blue crab cakes are excellent. Wine list is more like a catalog. So many choices that range from low to high end ($27-$400/bottle) so something for every experience, I guess. Desserts were good also. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend

Original little spot nestled in downtown Findlay. Great drinks and some of the best lamb I've ever had. My girlfriend had the crab cakes, and she liked even though she has been spoiled by some of the best. Iys not for the cheap but definitely recommend.

This was a great dinner. I would have liked a better wine list but the resiling was still good.

Service was good. I had the jerk lamb which was very good. My wife had the filet ordered medium and it came out rare.

Went to private party and the server put the roasting lids on the floor when he was checking the food, then he picked the lids up off the floor and covered the roasters with them. That is very Gross and definitely against heath dept. Code. Never ever would I ever go back .

The liquor and wine choices are top notch even for the most nostalgic person. They truly have a choice to satisfy everyone. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant and make their patron their TOP priority. The chefs prepared the most mouth-watering dishes for our party. Great flavor, fresh, delicious flavors. This is not your local Dennys, dress nice, take out your special someone to The gathering! Reservations are probably a good idea!Have fun! We did!

I have no complaints at all. Easily way over 5 starts. To start, our waiter was paying attention to every detail. Not only above and beyond, but even in the manner he brought salt and pepper. We went on a Friday night. It was not busy and the atmosphere had a fancy, yet casual fun feel to it.As for food, it was absolutely excellent.I ordered the filet mignon. They cooked it perfectly, and the portion was perfect for an easy dinner. Water and Amaretto sours were always topped off. That’s a sign of a great ran restaurant.I can also tell the staff enjoy their jobs there. Great effort by The Gathering. Will be returning very soon.

Let me start by saying Calvin was a great waiter! He was attentive, and checked on my table frequently. Prices are quite high for the quality of food though. I ordered a gin martini from their drink menu, and received a moldy grape in it. They were nice enough to remake the drink, but wish I wasn’t served a molded piece of fruit in the first place. The autumn bruschetta was ok. The toasts were burnt and that flavor came through which was unpleasant. A lot of other flavors going on and too many toppings where it just turned in to a pile of mush. Great idea, but would scale back on the amount of toppings. Stuffed gnocchi was delicious. The gnocchi’s were a little over cooked on some sides, but the flavor was good. The sauce was delicious and really creamy, steak was the best part of my meal!
