“While passing through Fostoria to see the Big Boy train, I noted this rundown looking sign.

As a passionate baker and supporter of small business I was intrigued by this little place that clearly was someone’s home but didn’t look like the shop was in order anymore.

Sure enough it appears that Ivy, the 91 yo proprietor passed in 2021.“

“I love sugar cookies, but sadly a lot of places around make them very dry and not as good but I do have to say her sugar cookies are one of the best around. I have had them four or five times now and I’ve only ever had one problem with them being a little bit drier than normal, but they are usually very moist and very delicious If you’re looking for some good cookies, I definitely recommend this place. I’m not too sure on everything else as I have not tried any of the other products but here shortly I will have to try them.“
