Our meal was spectacular and our waiter Noah was a joy. Wonderful evening from start to finish!

We were there to celebrate our anniversary. It was a great experience. Wonderful food and service. If there was any downside, it was that it's a bit loud for conversations. But that's a problem with most restaurants in 2026. Restaurants just aren't built for that anymore.

The chocolate cake was massive and tasted amazing, making it the perfect way to end the meal. The steak came out exactly how I asked, juicy and full of flavor. Every side dish we ordered paired really well with the main course. Our server knew the menu inside and out and gave helpful answers to every question without hesitation. Great food, friendly service, and an overall experience that makes me want to come back again.

My God. I didn't know prime rib could taste that good. I had my first bite and realized my food was disappearing faster than intended. I will need to return again for research of this strange occurrence. I highly recommend the Sunday brunch. The only reason I gave it five stars is because Google hasn't given us six yet.

This was one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in a long time. The atmosphere was fantastic, dim lighting but not dark and not too loud, the service was amazing and really cared that it was our anniversary. The food was fantastic, I had a 12 oz NY Strip with Sautéed Onions and Mushrooms and my wife had the Twin bacon wrapped filets with a side of green beans. We then had Creme Brulee and The seasonal fruit cobbler for dessert. The rolls and honey butter were fantastic as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion.

Fantastic place to celebrate a special occasion. Best steak and prime rib i have ever tasted. The service was great, where our server helped us pick out a fantastic red wine. The ambiance is also very romantic, with a country chic vibe. The only potential knock is it is pricy, but you get what you paid for in quality and potions. Perfect place to celebrate a significant milestone.

The food here was exceptional. The wait was about 15-20 minutes, and having the steak, it was extremely fast service. Their chocolate cake was also super rich and very good. Our server, Kevin, was also the best. He got us our drinks and food fast, was extremely polite, very funny and was cracking jokes with us, and gave us an extra serving of mashed potatoes and extra carrot cake from the kitchen. Please give this man a raise, he was awesome.

Everything was great. Normally when you go to a buffet there may be. Few one off things that aren't good but they know what they are doing! From the meat and sides down to the pastries and dessert was amazing!

The best Sunday brunch ever.

We visited The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek for my birthday and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and relaxing the atmosphere was. The restaurant was very clean, and despite being seated in the bar area, which did get somewhat loud, we were still able to carry on a conversation comfortably.
The food presentation throughout the meal was beautiful. We started with the rolls and maple butter. The rolls themselves were fairly bland, but the maple butter helped add some flavor. The half-shell oysters were excellent and are something we would absolutely order again. I had a strawberry lemonade that was refreshing but fairly generic, while my husband’s non-alcoholic Hurricane was very good.
One thing worth noting is that the children’s meals were surprisingly large—more like adult portions. Had I known, I would have had my children share a meal.
Unfortunately, the main courses were where our experience became disappointing. Given that entrees range from around $50 to over $90 for certain steaks, we expected exceptional flavor to match the price point.
I ordered the 10-ounce filet with Béarnaise sauce and Oscar-style toppings, along with a lobster tail add-on, lobster bisque, loaded baked potato, and Caesar salad that my husband and I shared. The Caesar salad was fresh but very small and tasted as though it had little to no dressing. The lobster bisque was the biggest disappointment of the evening. While it was beautifully presented, it lacked flavor entirely. I had to add a significant amount of salt and pepper just to make it enjoyable, and despite searching through the bowl, I couldn’t find a single piece of lobster.
The filet itself was cooked perfectly and was very tender. However, the Oscar-style topping and Béarnaise sauce overwhelmed the dish with a strong lemon flavor. The steak itself seemed to have little seasoning, and the asparagus underneath was equally bland. The loaded baked potato was delicious and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. The lobster tail was tender but lacked flavor beyond a charred taste unless dipped in butter.
My husband ordered the long-bone ribeye with blue cheese and mushrooms. He said the blue cheese was the best part of the steak, which otherwise lacked seasoning and flavor. The Brussels sprouts were heavily charred and bland, while the mushrooms were overcooked and similarly under-seasoned. He did, however, thoroughly enjoy the French onion soup.
For everything we ordered, including tip, our bill exceeded $430. At that price point, we expected a memorable dining experience. Instead, we left feeling underwhelmed by the quality and flavor of most of the food.
The highlight of the evening was our server, Lance. He was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and consistently checked on us throughout the meal. His service was exceptional and easily the best part of our visit.
My husband and I frequently dine at Hyde Park Steakhouse and often spend less than we did here. Hyde Park consistently delivers flavorful, well-executed meals that justify the price. In comparison, we honestly felt that restaurants like LongHorn Steakhouse, Outback, and even Applebee’s have served steaks with more flavor at a fraction of the cost.
While we might return for appetizers, oysters, drinks, and the excellent service, we would not return for the entrees. The atmosphere and presentation were wonderful, but the food simply did not deliver the quality or flavor expected for the price.

We had a birthday meal for just two of us Everything was superb! Michael waited on us, and he was great! We mentioned that we were going to split a bowl of lobster bisque, and he brought it in two bowls. We asked about gluten-free onion rings we had heard about, but that weren't listed on the menu, and he seemed happy to order them for us, and then without asking, brought GF rolls to the table
