I liked this place when it first opened, but since then it has steadily gone downhill! Walked in there the lights were so bright. It was almost blinding… I don’t know how anyone could’ve enjoyed a meal or a drink at that bar. I also realize that the health department of Delaware County restricts cooking the hamburgers below medium, however that doesn’t mean that you do everything well done! Also, the french fries were fried so much they were nothing but crumbles of grease on the plate… also, I cannot believe that this place closes at 9 PM on a Saturday night. How ridiculous… It is a bar after all God forbid they say open till 10 or 11 this is quite obvious that the manager could care less or is just clueless! If you want the true Thurman Café experience it’s worth the drive to downtown Columbus at least there I can get my burger cooked anyway I want it for $18!

Don't expect anything other than well done. Restaurants like this irk me. If you can only cook a burger one way, fine, don't ask. There are plenty of good burger places that do not ask.
The food was good, but definitely not worth the money. I only ordered the large burger because it would have been the same price to upgrade from chips to fries on the junior, which came with the original.

So ordered $58 worth of food which was only two burgers two orders of onion rings and 2 corn dogs and French fries - yes that's all for 58... Smfh. They got our order from us over the phone and they had it correct cause it was repeated back correctly from a-z 100% knew our specific order. So they did not get anything correct but the damn fries and corndogs.... oh I guess the onion rings were correct too, but both burgers were completely wrong and they forgot two different sauces they charged us for. So if you are ordering for pickup ID would definitely check the food before going to your vehicle. Absolutely not a hint of QA or QI which ever you prefer to call an inspection over your order to make sure that they did their job and met your specifications. Im highly allergic to cheese so them putting cheese on my 20 dollar burger is unacceptable cause scraping it off ain't going to work I will still swell up and die and all because they cant follow directions due to strenuous work load or carelessness or possibly laziness but im not pleased with this at all especially the amount it cost for what little I received get yalls shit together - forreal

We went with 12 for dinner, I called ahead and let them know we were coming, they set it up for us. Server was great, knowledgeable about the menu, made great suggestions and had a smile on her face the whole time. We had a great time with good food, atmosphere and service. We'll be back!
