We were looking to experience a new distillery and this one is a fantastic find! The tour was great, much more personalized experience than most other tours we've been on. The tasting afterwards was great as well! We were able to try an assortment of their spirits while being able to talk through the history of creating each of them with the master distiller and owners. The tour was very informative and it was great to learn more about the science that goes into their process. Their gin is one of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this place!
What a great time at Iron Vault today. We expected a basic distillery tour where we learn all the rules about making bourbon. Instead Laura gave us a brief history of the build and how three friends wanted a “fun” retirement business. Next, John and Rob showed us how they make the “good stuff.” As I said, this wasn’t your standard tour. It was an hour plus of John “showing” us his toys and telling us stories. Visitors can enjoy a tour of the back area if scheduled ahead. Guests appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff, with one couple even buying a bottle to take home after an informative tour. Overall, a fantastic experience with delicious drinks and welcoming atmosphere, making it a highly recommended stop for friends and family.
