My friends and I were riding motorcycles (road trip) and decided to stop here instead of Tudors. The place was pretty busy, for Saturday at 9:30am, but it didn't take long to be seated. The waitress was friendly and took our order right away. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. I ordered the pecan cranberry grilled chicken salad with 1/2 BLT. Well, it was the worse I have had from Bob evans. The chicken was hard and rubbery like it had been microwaved yet it was not hot at all. The blt did not taste fresh. I don't know why it took 40 minutes. My friends food was just basic breakfast, which they said wasn't that great either. I guess we would have been better off to stop at Tudors. I THINK WE ALL AGREED NOT TO STOP HERE EVER AGAIN. Looking at these reviews, it seems this is the way this place operates for years now.

Bob Evans in Gallipolis OH, ROCKS!! The Bob Evans in Teays Valley, WV could learn alot from this location. Some lessons about how to be a restaurant where the food is always good, the service is always attentive, and the restaurant is always clean.

Bob Evans always a good restaurant, especially the one in Rio Grande
Partial to my hometown Bob Evans. My favorite besides the extra big breakfast is the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans.. The chocolate lava cake with ice cream is the Best Desert there in my opinion but I will take a slice of pie any day of the week also lol.
Kid-friendliness: No play area but staff is usually always really good with the kiddos!

Excellent biscuits and gravy. The crispy potatoes were spot on delicious. The grilled chicken on the salad was cooked perfectly and moist and juicy.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, as always. A true tribute to southern hospitality.
The pies are delicious and plentiful. We brought 4 home with us.

I was super impressed with the friendliness of the staff: everyone with whom we came in contact. The prices were great and the food was delicious! The restaurant and restrooms were kept clean and nice. Overall an awesome experience! Highly recommend!
