I love Captain D's . Was super excited to eat here as I was visiting from out of town. Service was great, employees were super friendly but the food wasn't fresh, not even warm. Cold fries are not a thing. Broccoli & green beans were hot but fish, chicken & hushpuppies weren't any good.
Food was awful. Called in the bad order and was given attitude. Went in 2 days later and somehow our replacement order wasn't "recorded" so we got stiffed on it.

I love captain D's it is one of my favorite fast food restaurants however the last time I was there we thought the slaw was spoiled. The recipe was changed. My husband likes everything and he spit his out. Every person that evening went up and complained about the slaw. It's just slaw so it's not a big deal. I still love captain d's though.

Just Had Platter From Capt.Ds Gallipolis And It Was The Absolute Nastiest Garbage I Have Ever Eaten,From Anywhere.Everything Tasted Like 2 Week Old Cardboard And Green Beans,Which I Always Get For Both Of My Sides,Tasted Like A Dirty Stainless Pot.Was One Of My Favorite Restaurants,Well That Changed Today.I Recommend, Going Elsewhere Before You Spend $30 On Garbage,Which By The Way,If It Was Good Like It Used To Be,I Would Have Needed 4 Servings Of The Amount Of Food,My Wife Paid $30 For,Her Thoughts About Food,Right Up Above Mine.If You EMPLOYEES Plan On Not Working At Capt. This is one of places my husband and I like to eat. There food is always fresh, crispy, not greasy and is ten times better than Long John. I went thru to get dinner, and when I got home the food is disgusting. It's greasy, tastes old, looks like it's been sitting all day, and the coleslaw isn't even cold. I do not know what's happened, but whatever it was, it needs to go back, I just threw $25 in the trash.

The sweet and sour was discontinued which I aways ate on my fish and the tartar is supposed to be refrigerated and it's spoiled if they don't bring bake the sweet and sour sauce I won't be back
Resturant not busy at approximately 6:30 pm and no one else in drive thru. I pull up I am immediately told they would be with me. I sat there with no new customers coming in and saying hello with no response. Sat there burning fuel and time for at least 5 minutes with no service! Your management and counter are both capable of answering the drive thru. Terrible terrible and no reason would be acceptable why this happened. I worked there many years ago and this would not be tolerated! Get your act together!

We didn't eat at Captain D's because they discontinued the item we specifically went there for. We loved their Lobster Rolls which are no longer on their menu. There is nothing else there my husband can eat for medical reasons so we left disappointed.

Absolutely the Worst food ever! We ordered the 2 Supreme sampler meals, and mine was half cooked! The crispy butterfly shrimp mush my chicken pink and mushy. I whole plate was half raw! Not ever again!
