I have not dined at a Captain Ds in a very long time. We were glad to stumble upon this one while traveling. We had fish dinners. Mine had fries and corn while my brothers had fries and slaw. The fish was excellent. The fries were average. My corn was too wet but my brother said his coleslaw was excellent. The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. Prices were decent.Restaurant was nicely decorated with beach like decor. They had senior specials on Sundays and maybe Wednesdays? Would stop again if ever in the area. This is located not far from the WV stateline.

Every time we go in they have Christian music playing, that's very relaxing and the people are always super nice and it's generally good food. I would recommend this Captain D's over any other one I've ever been to

The place was very clean and like a fresh coat of paint. Bathrooms for clean. Food ordering and delivery was very good. The girl at the cash register was knowledgeable and was happy to help us. And that is something you need when you're making a long trip from Ohio. Going to North Carolina.

I was in the Drive-Thru for over 10 minutes they left me on read never got to order and when I called back to speak with the manager they hung up on me twice
I love Captain D's . Was super excited to eat here as I was visiting from out of town. Service was great, employees were super friendly but the food wasn't fresh, not even warm. Cold fries are not a thing. Broccoli & green beans were hot but fish, chicken & hushpuppies weren't any good.
Food was awful. Called in the bad order and was given attitude. Went in 2 days later and somehow our replacement order wasn't "recorded" so we got stiffed on it.

I love captain D's it is one of my favorite fast food restaurants however the last time I was there we thought the slaw was spoiled. The recipe was changed. My husband likes everything and he spit his out. Every person that evening went up and complained about the slaw. It's just slaw so it's not a big deal. I still love captain d's though.
