Now the food is atrocious and costs more than it should.

This place isn't reinventing the wheel but sometimes you just want a place where you know the food is consistent and tastes the same every time you order it.

I have been coming here a lot lately for take out the first couple times were amazing. The last two times not so great maybe its different cooks some days it looks like the cook just doesn't care. I picked food up today and was not satisfied I asked for spinach to be added to my eggs I get the same order everytime today the chef decided they won't be adding it my hasbrowns are not brown and my toast barely toasted. Also I asked for extra condiments and got two packs of butter and no jelly.

Nice sized portions, reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. It was very busy on the Saturday that we went. Food was still delivered in a quick time. Friendly staff.

I usually frequent the Gates Mills location and I always get great service and food as I expect it. Today me and my daughter was seated waited about 10 minutes before we noticed everyone that walked in after us was getting greeted and served and orders taken. After 5 more minutes I said something. I got really agitated before going to just sit at the bar. We went and sat at the bar and no one greeted us there either. The service is really bad and no one even acknowledged the issue or said anything. We walked and I won’t be returning!

Great local spot for Breakfast and Lunch .

I've eaten here dozens of times. I appreciate the breakfast-all-day menu. The food is good, the service is good, and the cook staff is fairly consistent from day to day.

The reason they're not getting higher marks is because they serve their take out orders in trashy styrofoam containers. Styrofoam is known to leach carcinogenic chemicals into food, it is also one of the worst plastics in terms of breaking down and causing micro-plastic pollution. Several times, the food they served me had melted the styrofoam itself, making the food unsafe to eat.

Coffee was awful, and the food wasn't much better. Service was super slow and inattentive. Totally disappointing experience. Definitely not going back there.

Too noisy, food basic, service basic, you get what you pay for

So I actually liked our server Cherise P., but when I specifically asked for my food to be brought out hot (because only at their Valley View location has the food ever been served at the correct temperature) and she starts explaining their system of bringing the food out you know you are already in trouble. So everyone's food came out and my friend's veggie burger was at best lukewarm and my patty melt was cold. The picture is of the second patty melt. Now understand the cheese on the one they brought out first wasn't even melted. I handed it back to the manager and said it's cold and please remake it meaning don't just stick it in the microwave. The second one was perfect. See picture. Here's the thing neither the server nor the manager apologized and they knocked nothing off of the bill. Nice how little pride they take in their food or for that matter their service. I have never understood people's fascination with this place. The food isn't all that good even for diner food and the prices aren't great. Plus everything and I do mean everything is ala carte. I should have gone to The Winking Lizard where my patty melt (for the same price) comes with fries.

I’ve had the same excellent service at every Yours Truly location. Each of the servers has been friendly and the food is delivered promptly. For someone who does not typically eat at chains, I will always make an exception for this one.
