We came here for our wedding anniversary dinner tonight and, unfortunately, were pretty disappointed. I ordered the shrimp linguini, and my husband had the Angus ribeye. My pasta was way over-seasoned and oily, with only a few pieces of shrimp. My husband’s steak was cooked well in the center, but the corners were so charred that they were tough and hard to chew — for an 11oz steak, a good portion of it was almost inedible.
Our waitress was attentive and kind, which we really appreciated, and the atmosphere was nice. I imagine it’s even more beautiful during the day with the view overlooking the water. Still, for such a special occasion, the food just didn’t live up to the expectations we had. We chose this location because of the great reviews, but sadly, our experience didn’t match them.

Made reservation via google for an anniversary dinner. Was greeted right away and seated with a view of Lake Erie from our table. Server was attentive and reviewed specials with us. Appetizers (bread & stuffed pepper soup) and Main courses (salmon & NY strip) were prepared and brought out in a very acceptable timeframe. Food was delicious. Highly recommend for an upscale dinner when in Geneva On the Lake.

This hidden gem is located in the Lake House Inn. There was a really nice path that leads down to the beach and offered an incredible view of the sunset.
I sat outside and for 6:30p in early October the temp dropped pretty quickly. They did have a fire pit that was really nice.
Our service was a tad slow but if you relaxing with company and a good drink we didn't mind. We ordered half a loaf of bread for the table. I had a dark and stormy cocktail and to eat the seasonal special swordfish. It was all very delicious, I highly recommend stopping by and tasting a dish from this wonderful restaurant. It did cost about $60-$70 per person for entry and a cocktail.

My New York Strip was $44 and asked for medium rare. It was a small steak and only ~3/8” thick. It was overcooked to well done.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here for our anniversary. We sat outside and had beautiful views of Lake Erie. Our server, Savannah, was one of the best and most attentive servers we’ve ever had and made us feel very special for our anniversary! Her dad, Randy, was the chef that prepared our food and our bavette steak was cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious food, worth the price, and even better service! We will definitely be back when we visit the area again.

We had a wonderful dining experience! Hailey was our server and she was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. Abi greeted us warmly, confirmed our reservation, and made sure we had the perfect patio seating, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
Rebecca, the bartender, was incredibly thoughtful and crafted outstanding drinks that were a highlight of the night.
The food was delicious, but the standout was definitely the seasonal baked Brie—it was hands-down the best thing we ate. We’ll be back for that alone!
Excellent service, great atmosphere, and memorable food and drinks all around. Highly recommend!

First this is a nice place with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoors is surrounded by really pretty gardens with a fire pit and views of lake Erie. Whoever takes care of the gardens...wow!
The place was very busy but we had no issues. We sat at the bar which was nice.
We had delicious mocktails but the cocktails also looked very good.
The food beat expectations all the way around.
The service was very good.
If you want a really nice meal in GOTL, this is the place.

We came for our 27th wedding anniversary - highly recommended by friends, yet HIGHLY disappointed. My duck was overcooked, potatoes were room temp and the wifes steak was mediocre at best.
Also, the Crosswinds mule was underwhelming to say the least!
The HIGHLIGHT of our meal was the butter pecan and key lime pie cheesecakes!
BTW... our server, Amanda, was excellent and friendly.

One of the worst meals I have had in a very long time. I ordered the portobello mushroom ravioli. It came out lukewarm, swimming in some sort of oil, definitely not olive. The ravioli was overcooked and totally bland. It came with a side of green beans that were flavorless, tough, undercooked and unsalted. At their price point, I expected an outstanding plate of food, but it was almost inedible.

We came here for our anniversary trip and were really looking forward to a special dinner. Overall, the meal was enjoyable! I ordered the chicken and potatoes, which were delicious, and we sat out on the patio with a lovely view.
Service was friendly but could have been more attentive, especially given the price point—it seemed like our server was stretched a bit thin, even though the restaurant wasn’t overly busy.
My husband ordered the steak medium, but it arrived very rare. We didn’t send it back, so that’s on us, but something to note. He still said the flavor was good. I started with the Caesar salad, which was just okay—not bad, but nothing special.
We might have been better off ordering one of the specials, and I think our expectations were just quite high going in. That said, it’s a beautiful spot and definitely make time to walk down to the private beach afterward—it was a perfect way to end the evening!

My bestie and I were staying at the Lakehouse for a girls weekend and as we were watching the sunset she said she wanted ice cream. We walked up to Crosswinds and they were closed but the chef and staff were outside watching a parade. Even though they were closed, Randy was so nice and offered us his homemade maple ice cream. First of all, best ice cream ever and the fact he took time to dirty a few dishes for us to have ice cream after hours, what a stand up human. Abi was a sweet server and made sure my ice cream was gluten free and safe for me to eat. Great people and the patio is superior. Also their breakfast sandwich is great and they made it celiac safe for me.

I've been coming here for many years & I do enjoy the scenery. The food was a little off this day, steak over cooked & French Onion lacked flavor, but I still enjoyed myself. This place is perfect for a romantic date dinner. Sincerely, Cookbook Author Jaime M. Sina of Sexy Series, because healthy is so sexy! 💋 #SexySeries.shop #JaimeSina
