I love reading the negative reviews. Hes there until hes not. Hahahah. Best burrito in a 500 mile radius. Stop posting 1 star reviews because of his hours instead post a review of how awesome the food is EVERYTIME.

The issue is the terrible business practices. I cannot tell you how many times, I have gone there to order food after checking their website to make sure they are open, only to find they are closed. Its a 25 minute drive for me one way, I live in Painesville. There is NO phone number to call to make sure they are open, or to place large orders, which to me is ridiculous. Today, Saturday October 12th 2024, my friend from Eastlake, traveled out here to Geneva for the Trump Convoy at Geneva State Park, he and his family of (5). We thought we'd grab lunch at Effin Burrito before joining the convoy, NOPE!!! Even tho their website said they were open at 1pm, we all get there to find the building closed up, they were of course closed. So in addition to losing around $100.00 that we would've spent, I'm being told there are alot of others who have had the same experience, maybe they dont care to make money, or dont care about customers, it's just not a way to conduct business.

This is a review from someone who craves these year long and lives 200 miles away but comes back every summer for at least two per visit. Delicious meats (and non meat options) and seasoning all compiled with just the right ratio of the good stuff: cilantro lime rice, sour cream, salsa, and rice and beans. Dairy left out for the vegans, so there's something for everyone! Be ready for giant, tasty burritos that you'll travel back to GOTL for every time!
Try the Effin Crawler (an upgraded walking taco) when you can't commit to the big burrito, but definitely get the big burrito to go on your way home.
Combine great taste and portion size with the nicest, coolest guy you'll ever meet, and you'll see why I'm taking all the time to write this.
