Ee stopped in at Horizons Restaurant & Lounge to find something for breakfast. Two of the four of us decided to eat at the buffet style breakfast. We got there and had to wait quite a while to be seated. So two of us just had coffee only. (After finally being seated. And food I mention, the place was not crowded! ) The two that ate said the food was bland. The service was almost nonexistent. And at the end they tried to charge for four meals! We had to get that addressed before the bill got adjusted to reflect the correct amounts. Not the best place to go, but it was one of the only places open, unfortunately.

We showed up at 9pm to get food and a beer. The waiter took awhile to show up and when he did said “you want food”. After we placed our order and asked for a beer he denied us getting a beer. Said we had did a wine tour with lodge previous (that ended at 3:30pm) and told us he would not let us have a beer.We complained to the front desk but to no avail nothing was done. We had many hours between our tour and they automatically judged us. Did not feel welcome. Will never come back again

Ate here for Christmas Day! The view and proximity to the fireplace could not be beat for a Christmas dinner. The location is unlike any other in Ohio along the lake. There was a special menu for the holiday and the food was unbelievably delicious. Unique flavor combos and fresh ingredients made for a truly unforgettable meal! The service was slightly rushed for the majority of the meal and then we had to wait for dessert but it was the holiday. If their regular menu is anything close to this we will be back.

The food here was delicious. I had the Harvest Bowl and the pretzel breadsticks with Guinness beer cheese dip for dinner, and an omelet with their pinched potatoes for breakfast. Service was a little slow, considering there were only a few other tables occupied, but the servers were friendly. The view of Lake Erie from the main dining area is beautiful.

We sat down 6:40pm less than 15 people took 20 minutes to get drinks another 20 minutes for hummus appetizer(it was ok) another 25 minutes finally got our salads (I don't recommend ceaser)it was 7:55 with our main course yet to be served when we decided to just have them bag it. Beautiful restaurant totally disappointed in food, service and quality of food.

*SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. I understand and I am sympathetic to the challenges this industry is facing, and the labor shortages associated with it, but my experience was at 60-70% capacity on what appeared to be a well staffed facility. Food is ok, nothing really knocked me out of my chair, but overall no complaints about the food. This place made me feel like families are unwelcome. We were the only table as a couple with two kids, 10 and 5…. And I feel like the service reflected my theory. After 15 minutes our waitress finally come to the table for the first time and said “sorry about your wait, I’m sure you’ve had enough time to look over the menu and you’re ready to order?”. My wife and kids went back to the room after finishing dinner; I sat at the table for 10 minutes before finally going to the front desk to pay my bill.
Overpriced. Poor quality and poor quality control. Slow. Inaccurate.The $48 Tbone was not 1/2" thick.The pepperoni pizza did not have pepperoni.

Went for dinner last night while family is visiting the area. The food was “OK”. Took 2 hours from the time we sat down till we left. Took over 1 hour from when we ordered food but it was put on the table. Be aware
