Nice place, lake view from the porch dining area. Excellent food, old-timey atmosphere. Great coffee.

My husband and I went there for the first time yesterday and the food was amazing. He ordered pancakes and bacon and I got French toast and bacon. Would definitely go back.

I ordered a patty melt. They ( the menu) said it was one of their signature burgers. The meat had absolutely no flavor. I added as pepper and salt as I could, didn't make a dent. I did question why the onions were reddish in color, waitress wasn't sure. The server was nice but very stingy on the napkins. Maybe they are better at breakfast foods

We decided to try this all over again. We were so disappointed. The food was terrible. The hash browns I asked to be extra crispy they come out barley cooked. I got the finer diner omelet the veggies we soaked in oil and just nasty. My husband got a duke patty melt. It was so gross. The burger was so thin it looked like the size of a McDonald's burger. Definitely not fresh meat any more completely frozen. He also ordered a side of onion rings. They were so over cooked he didn't want to eat them. The flies that kept flying around our table was awful. As soon as we walked in today we were met with grumpy, unhappy staff. Our waitress didn't even refill my water. My husband had to ask for a refill on his water. She only asked if we wanted a box for my nasty omelet. No thanks.. We always tip and try and tip 20% or higher and I was so mad about our service we did not tip anything. The tip was not given because of crappy food, but because of the lack of service too. We will never return again. It's sad what was once one of our favorite places to eat is not on the never return to list!!!
We used to frequent Mary's Diner in Geneva. Since they franchised it out we have been disappointed several times. Tonight being one of them. The burger's used to be the best around. The last two times they are dry and hard to chew. They are not freah like they used to be and way smaller. We sent almost 43.00 for food I didn't eat! We are done with eating there. The new owner's are nice, but the food is no where like it used to be..
