Just spent the past weekend at Geneva on the lake for a bachelorette party. After walking around the strip and getting dirty looks every time we walked into an establishment to eat (we actually walked out of one for how poorly we were treated upon walking into) we stumbled upon Old Firehouse Winery! The location was great with live music and a lovely view. The local beer was pretty good and you’re bound to find a suitable wine from their selection. I also had a hamburger and fries and honestly that was the worst hamburger I have ever eaten. It was just shy of scorched and the patty kept falling apart into small pieces. The fries weren’t great either but at least somewhat edible in comparison to the burger. Enjoy the view and beverages, but look elsewhere for your food.
The food was not great. My wife had a burger that wasn't bad,over cooked for us, but not bad. Fries would have been good if they had been hot, we watched the fries sit on the counter for quite a while. My fish platter was an atrocity. One piece of perch, with the most bland breading I've ever had. 5 shrimp that were of course frozen. A horrible crab cake that was a hockey puck.
However the waiter was great and the music was well played and not overly loud.
