My family and I have eaten here for years. This used to be the best place ever until we caught the guy working there would “finger taste” the food/crab dip to see if it was hot enough and then drip snot into the food on the way to serving it to our table. Not counting him dropping the ice on the table and then putting it back into our glasses with his bare fingers for our lavender tea. Really wish this wouldn’t have happened because we used to eat there every weekend, now we won’t eat there ever again ?

It made my brother barf. It was the worst restaurant in the world. I'm never going back again. If I do it, it would taste like a sloppy Joe's. That was mold.

The atmosphere was really cute. When I got there, the owner turned on the really cool old shooting range. They were busy with one server and one cook. I had some time so I figured it would be better than a greasy burger. I started with the lobster bisque. It was different from what I am used to but it was good. The salt was a bit much though. I waited to order again but I was offered my check as if they wanted me to leave, but I was still hungry I ordered the apple salad but I was told there was no lettuce, odd because I watched other people get a salad, so I ordered the conch fritters, they were out of those. I ordered a bruschetta. It was supposed to have cheese and seafood. It looked like they’d poured their bisque on top of it with hidden cheese. It was okay but again, so much salt! My tongue hurt with all the salt, even a day after. It was an interesting experience.

This place is absolutely amazing! Have been going here for 15 years and it never disappoints. You gotta try to smoked lobster dip, conch fritters, and lobster lasagna!

Small local restaurant. Service was great and the couple running it where friendly and very polite. The lobster lassunga was very good and I recommend to try it. The bar back drop is an old shooting gallery from the 20's that was moved from conney Island. Pice of history there.

Gets two stars because it didn't actually made us sick, but we definitely felt the need to wait it out before doing much else for the evening since it was a bit sketchy. We gave it the benefit of the doubt as a grungy hole in the wall. We ordered salmon kabobs and a fish sandwich and the corn fritters. Wasn't anything special or very flavorful and definitely not worth the price of it. We about lost it when the "kabob" came out as it was a single salmon fillet on top of a small (seeming microwave dinner like) pile of rice with a full size wooden skewer stuck in it.... There was nothing on the stick it was just stuck in the fillet like a toothpick stuck in a sandwich ? everything comes in a bottle or a can which is probably for the better because someone could easily mess with the ice machine that is next to the mop sink and bathrooms. Still trying to figure out if they have more than one set of salt and pepper shakers for the tables .. we saw the server/hostess take it from one occupied table to another without asking...to 3 different tables ? maybe at one time in its hay day was something but there are better options nearby and we would recommend you go elsewhere.

This Unique Eatery is our absolute favorite on the strip. We enjoy it so much we went twice during our stay. The food is great and service is unbeatable. You can clearly feel the passion and dedication the owners put into their life work. Much respect to them , these two do everything on their own. They are very personable to their guests. Truly a one of a kind type of place. I love the decor. Their specials. The smoked lobster dip and Lobster lasagna are delightful. You have to check it out.Kid-friendliness: James always gives stickers and activity pages to my daughter and she loves it!

This place made me and my whole group uncomfortable: The man server was nice but the chef was extremelyPushy and the lobster lasagna had no sauce and tasted like watered down lasagna with lobster bits and the whole time they watched us eat. Don’t recommend coming

Had a great experience at the sandy chanty! We were looking to sit down and eat somewhere other than a bar, and this was perfect. Fun music, good food and the owners were very kind and fun and made our experience very enjoyable!! We had lobster dip, bruschetta, lobster lasagna and the walleye, and everything was delicious. Would definitely come back.
