Arrived for lunch. Not busy at all. It is a pub/bar, not a Cafe. Dining room is dark. Multiple TVs on but no sound. Juke Box music is playing overhead. Waitress was super friendly and I never had an empty glass. Ordered the Chicken Breast sandwich with fries. Was very disappointed by the chicken portion size. It was just tender size, not even half of a breast. The basket was loaded with fries. Recommend that you ask for them "well done" as mine were a bit too soft. The sandwich also had no sauce of any type. Overall, just a meh experience.

Our waitress was so fast it was unbelievable. Always looking over our table to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was amazing and chips are awesome!! We just moved to Genoa and this restaurant has already made this a great experience!

You are certain to be treated with a cheerful waitress, excellent food and atmosphere. Looking to have fun with friends, or have a party Rayz is the place to be. The owner and employees are so compassionate they become an extension to your family.

Never got past the appetizers, pretzel bites were deep fried and you tasted everything that was cooked in the deep fryer in the pretzel bites. Also the potato skins were tiny and the toppings were melted to the plate and not on the skins. Probably not going back.

I’m sure before you are reading this you looked at the star rating. However, honestly I would have rated my experience 1 star if it wasn’t for my friends making it fun, as well as the waitress busting her butt to try to satisfy everyone, even though it was very hard with the given circumstances.
Now I can tell you about the stuff you want to hear. The reason I would rate this experience one star is mainly because of the food. When my food came out cold I was not angry, just sort of confused, but then everyone else in my party got brought cold food. But that wasn’t reason enough for anyone to complain, as we brought a big party and I’m sure it was hard on the staff. But then I tasted the mashed potatoes and gravy. Those things are killer (I almost choked to death) they tasted like an ash tray for some reason. And I mean the taste of smoke was STRONG. Really in conclusion I only gave them 2 stars out of sympathy for a small local buisness.
If you do pay this place a visit I recommend the lemonade, and for food, I recommend the chicken balls. Those things were actually enjoyable to put into my mouth.

I recently visited Rayz Cafe, and I must say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The lighting was harsh and uninviting, giving the place an almost clinical feel. The decor seemed outdated and didn't match the trendy vibe I expected from the online photos. The service was even worse. Despite the cafe being half-empty, it took forever for someone to acknowledge our presence and seat us. Even if the bar was full, there should be more than one waitress or waiter on duty. Once seated, we waited an absurd amount of time for a server to take our order. When they finally did arrive, they were unfriendly and acted as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. The tables were sticky, and it was clear they hadn't been cleaned properly. The noise level was also unbearable, with loud music blaring that made it impossible to have a conversation. To make matters worse, the staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to customers. When our food finally arrived, it was cold and tasteless. The portions were small, and the presentation was unappetizing. It was evident that little care had been put into the preparation. To top it all off, the prices were absurd for the quality of food and service provided. Overall, my visit to Rayz Cafe was a letdown. The poor service, uncomfortable atmosphere, and subpar food made it an experience I won't be repeating. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Great food, amazing prices and some good draft beer to wash it all down. This place beats many other restaurants in all different areas. Go check it out.

One of the worst food poisoning experiences I’ve had. Do not get the buffalo shrimp basket if you have to come here. I’ve been unable to eat all day and barely can keep down water.

The restaurant was very uncomfortably cold. The food took a very long time to get to the table. Much of the food was cold. Pre-bussing was not done. Drink refills were not happening. This was not a good experience at all.
