“The service was a good speed for a sit down place and the staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They were really good about asking if we needed refills and asking how the food was. The food was good. The Carolina gold BBQ sauce is a good option for someone who likes honey mustard. We had a few drinks which made it a bit pricier.”

“Tried it for the first time, (I'm not from Genoa) it was somewhere along the way. It has a pretty tough competitor as Rayz Cafe is right next to it just about. But if you are looking for good breakfast and delicious dessert, R Cafe is the place. expensive, but surprisingly good quality. And they've been in business for a long time I heard. So they are doing something right. Try their chocolate chip cookies, they are homemade and yummy!”

“Just a comment on this Hardee's at the rest stop. There was a long, huge line and these employees worked hard to get things done. Very courteous, and fast! Accurate too. We were just passing through as most folks were, stopping for a quick meal. Great job. Colten took my order as well as other people's.This entire staff deserves a hand for sincerity. It is VERY RARE to get service like this at a rest stop. Of course the atmosphere was a rest stop so it was mediocre. but the service was great!!!! thank you all!”

“Discovered the unassuming gem while visiting Toledo for a wedding. We got the carrot salad (fresh-tasting & perfectly acidic), uzbek non (soft with a toasty flavor), laghman soup (hearty & warming, thick handmade noodles with a great chew, tomato wasn’t overwhelmingly acidic), uzbek plov (beef was tender & rice was cooked in the beef fat so this was so flavorful). To top it all off, service was attentive as well. We didn’t expect to find this unique spot right off the highway — it was a lovely surprise!”

The portions were large, and something that seems rare these days, the prices were under $20 for superior entrees. Then, despite being full, we couldn't resist the Black Forest Cake, which was enough for four. It was under $5 and may have been the best dessert we ever had.”

“It's a local diner with ambiance. The menu is not too overwhelming. The Hot Roast beef sandwich was very good as were the mashed potatoes and gravy. You could tell everything is homemade. Service was prompt, even though there was a sign letting you know it may be slow. I will definitely go ”
