After enjoying the trails at Howard Marsh Metropark, my wife and I wanted to try something new for dinner. Since the signs on the highway extolled the virtues of Bono Tavern as being the best food in town, we decided a visit was in order. Once we arrived in Bono, we understood the ironic humour of the signs, as the tavern appeared to not only be the only restaurant in town, but it also looked like the only business period. Went here last night for first time and I loved it! Staff of older guy working and I'm assuming sweet guy in college with piercings were so nice and friendly :) I'm assuming older guy was owner too and he was so nice! Food was delicious too and I absolutely loved the turtle soup! French onion soup was good as well! I got the perch and it was delicious and not one bone in it which was great they got them out! Breading wasn't too thick either and fish was perfectly cooked as well....read full review

This place is addicting! Good people, incredible bartenders, ridiculously delicious food, live music, and a phenomenal owner who makes southern hospitality look like a bad joke. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.
