“5 adults & 1 child in our group ate here last evening. Anthony was awesome from the moment we walked in the door! Absolutely hands down top notch service...he couldnt have done a single thing more to be friendly and accommodating. Our party ordered wings, burgers and a Philly steak. The food was OUTSTANDING! Gonna plug the Mahoning Valley Food Guru page who have also given IronMannGrille rave reviews - spot on! 6 of us ate for just under $100 and that included 5-6 beers. Anthony invited us back as we were leaving & he actually didnt need to do so - we'll definitely be back. I dont write reviews often but will typically do so when every facet of a new place exceeds expectation - Anthony, you nailed it! Such a great experience for everyone in our group! Highly recommend!“

“Fabulous..from the time we walked thru the door..til we finished eating and left. Welcoming greeting. First time customers, so Ms Stepanie came out welcomed us again, explained the Ala carte menu, all items are fresh, not frozen, and smoked on site. I was blown away at the detail. The food was outstanding. Ms Stephanie checked on us at our table to make sure we were satisfied with our order. Then...when leaving, the whole team wish us a great day. JUST WOW.“

“We had a 70th birthday dinner for my father. We’ve been coming for years when we’re in town from Cleveland. Has always been our favorite. This time around service was amazing as we had a party of 18. Some changes in recipes not a fan. Cornbread was dry & crumbly. Hard to eat because it just crumbled. Brisket was over cooked & on dry side. Ribs not as tender as per usual but still delicious. Please don’t ever change your sauce.“

“I was in the Boardman area to buy a car. It was getting late my wife had lunch and I had a snack before the 1.5 hr. drive., so after the purchase I googled restraunts near me . I thought everything was delicious, the fries are saltier than I would have liked. Now my wife thought everything was over seasoned for her liking, She scraped some off her food . I was satisfied with everything and our waitress was outstanding, checking on us quite frequently.“

“Excellent venue for ceremony & wedding receptions. Formerly a restaurant & train station. This wedding & event center is beautiful inside. The outside needs restoration and painted but so much history. Definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for a very cool venue & a historical site in Youngstown.“

“All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.

Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.

“Delicious food. We had the spinach cheese dip and the crusty bread triangles for dipping for appetizer it was very good. I got the filet mignon, 6 oz and broccoli with sweet potato. It was the best meal I had in a long time. My son was visiting from Vermont. They don't have Longhorn there. He raved about it. He loved the mashed potatoes. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very good. I will be back. Way better than Outback and Texas Roadhouse“
