“I ordered online for a scheduled delivery to a friends house that I was not present not only did they prepare order earlier than expected but the delivery driver was very attentive with the delivery. Even called me when there was some confusion with my friends daughter who answered the door.“

“Random Google search led me here on a drive through town... owner was extremely friendly and we chatted about food I make as well as prices... these prices are unmatched for the quantity AND quality of food recieved. You qill not come close anywhere on the portion sizes per price.... the ribs are tender and juicy with a great smokey flavor... the sauce has a great acidic kick that brings the cook on the ribs and the sauce flavor together... this reminds me of Louisiana bbq I've had on past travel and that was the best bbq I've had and this is close... Mac and cheese as well as collard greens are well seasoned and amazing... will definitely be back weekly“

“YES THIS PLACE!!!!! FOOD IS GREAT!! Hello again!!!! I'm back with another lip smacking, food place for you. This time it's in Akron OH.... I wanted some Soul Food and I found this and it was not too far from where I was headed. Being from the South we know soul food, especially in Texas! When I pulled up there was only one car in the parking lot. I walked to the door and the sign read, "If doors are locked come to drive thru".. I understood that completely because it gets dark real early up here. When I got to the window I wondering what to expect.... You know how you go to certain places and the person at the window working has an attitude? NOT THIS PLACE!! A very nice lady came and greeted me with a smile. I told her it was my first time and she gave me a menu and started to explain what they had. Check my history and you will know I got the Fried Chicken Wings. I also got Collard greens and pinto beans and and extras side of potato salad. You ever been to a Soul Food Restaurant and the veggies are Luke warm or just don't taste good? NOT THIS PLACE!!!!! All of the veggies were fresh and they were good. Some places you go to, you have to be careful of their potato salad... NOT THIS PLACE!! The potato salad was on point. I am not making this up! It was good. Now to the main course. The Fried Wings... OMG!!!! In some places wings are over seasoned or over battered and cooked hard or greasy!!!!! (hello Cracker Barrel) NOT THIS PLACE!!!!! Listen to me real good! Every wing that I ate was cooked to perfection, I am so serious right now. These wings were not heavenly battered, they were not overly seasoned, they were hot and fresh right out of the fryer!!!! Now don't expect to order your food at the window and it be ready in 2-3 minutes... these wings were cooked to order. But!! The wait was not long and there were two other cars they helped as well. I'm guessing I was there less than 10 mins. I wasn't really paying attention. Lastly, you know how most Soul Food places will charge you an arm and a leg for 5 wings, 3 veggies, and a small kool-aid... it would be expensive.... NOT THIS PLACE!!!!! I got all of this food for under $16.00... I left a tip and to be honest the tip should have been double! I'm serious everyone around Akron or passing through, this is one place that could be something special in the community!!! I am not from here but to receive service with a smile and have good food is something to be said!!! So if you are looking for a place that has average food, unfriendly service, with a high price tag!!!! Say it loud!!! NOT THIS PLACE!!!! Go enjoy the food, it's really good!
