“My wife & I ate there for the first time, today. We both ordered the pork, rib, & brisket combo with a side of mac and cheese. Perfectly cooked meat, tender, moist, and full of classic smokey BBQ flavor. They had the best cornbread I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The potato salad was really good too.The staff were friendly and helpful.The atmosphere is a little rough. I was having second thoughts before heading inside. But then we sat in the parking lot and read some other reviews. Glad we decided not to judge a book by its cover, so to speak.We’ll definitely dine there again.“
“This place use to be called the Cliffton Luncheon wayyy back when, and it was awesome then with mini jukeboxes at each table with old school feel. Now Landmark Smokehouse! Walking in you immediately feel under dressed! The view Stunning with modern lighting, Beautiful bar and Kitchen right in view! The table settings are eye pleasing and Stylish! Great views all the way around of the Cliffton/ Detroit rd intersection. I was very surprised at the updated look! And was in Awww! Now to the Food! OMG! The first time re-visting we had Breakfast, it was so good..I forgot to take pictures! Delicious Delicious Delicious! Very good portions for the money! Didn't wait long at all and the plating very eye pleasing, love the Stylish bowls. The Staff very attentive super nice and knows the menu! So good I went back for my Birthday for lunch this November 11. The pictures are in this time! I had the BLT Hubby had Sokehouse Brisket sandwiches. And OMG I can't say I've ever had one so good! It had Smojed Bacon, Ham & Turkey with Lettuce, Tomatoes. Best I ever had for real and Stacked high! I was only able to eat half! I had a side of the Mac n Cheese..OMG! Hubby's Brisket???? What can't u say, It's Smkehouse meats! Melted in your mouth Good! We both loved it, as I had to taste it for next time! I found nothing negative from the decor to the food and service! Triple A+ for me and can't wait to go back. they also have an outside Patio! Pricing is mid $$ and fair well worth it! What a Gem! And it's Connected to The Twist night Club!Vegetarian options: Didn't try any this time but did see healthy options that looked just as delicious as what I had.Parking: Parking lot is small but plenty of parking off street.Kid-friendliness: The kids we seen were very happy and they do have a menu for them!Wheelchair accessibility: Doors have good space for wheelchairs, and they have pull away chairs at tables to accommodate.“
“The place was clean and neat. I'm not familiar with area but it appeared to be okay. The gentleman were courteous and professional. Now the food was great, I order the polishboy combo. The crunch on thr chicken was damn good along with sauce and fries. Really enjoyed the chicken, with and without sauce. The polishboy....the BEST! I traveled a ways to visit this place just off reviews and glad I did, cause I will return. I can't wait to try the other menu items.Vegetarian options: Collard greens(vegetarian)were very good but a bit too spicy for me.“
“Food was outstanding and big portions! Go there hungry and leave full, with food to take home. We ordered the 3 meat platter brisket, pulled pork and the turkey! All 3 were juicy & very tasty also the corn bread is good as well. The Brunswick Stew is to die for! Real hearty and filling with an outstanding flavor. Kudos to the chef and food planner!“
“Cool BBQ spot downtown, my wife said it's the same famous chief place. Had the Turkey with a side of brisket and potatoes. The side was better than the Turkey. The side was $14, almost as much as meal but is very big. The wife had the brisket sandwich, and she enjoyed it.“
