“Top tier for Northeast Ohio BBQ. Brisket was tasty. Good flavor and texture. Could have used a better smoke ring, but still good. I'm not a sauce guy, but tried two of the sauces and appreciated being very different textures and flavors. Sausage of the day was a beef hot pink, which was good. I'd like to try others. They even gave me a meatloaf sample which was excellent. I'll definitely be back to try more meats and sides.“

The baked beans were thick and sweet, the smoke house macaroni was good and the smoke house cheddar burger was good also!! The atmosphere was lively and the young man who took my order was pleasant! “We had Old Carolina cater our wedding this last Saturday (2.24.24) at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland, OH and we cannot thank the staff enough. We opted for a buffet option which worked out so well. We are still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. When we were thinking about food for our wedding, I knew I wanted a barbecue buffet! Once we saw they were on the preferred list of vendors for Lake Affect Studios it was a no brainer and we went with them as our first choice. We used to love eating at Old Carolina when they had a restaurant in Mentor, OH. Kelsey was so helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to wedding day, and assisting with the set up the day before. They did an amazing job keeping everyone fed and the staff was friendly and efficient. They let us take home left over food and we were able to enjoy the barbecue even after our big day.
