“The place was clean and neat. I'm not familiar with area but it appeared to be okay. The gentleman were courteous and professional. Now the food was great, I order the polishboy combo. The crunch on thr chicken was damn good along with sauce and fries. Really enjoyed the chicken, with and without sauce. The polishboy....the BEST! I traveled a ways to visit this place just off reviews and glad I did, cause I will return. I can't wait to try the other menu items.Vegetarian options: Collard greens(vegetarian)were very good but a bit too spicy for me.“
“It was a Saturday night, so of course it was busy and there was a wait. About 30 minutes for a table for 2. Service was very good, food was good and accurate. Onion petals seem to have changed though, still good, but there was a difference. I had the filet and lobster, with sweet potato, and salad, it was very good.“

“This place is awesome. I got to order off of their food truck prior to entering the 49ers vs Browns game this past Sunday. It's an amazing option to eat just mere feet before the stadiums entrance. Fair warning, they don't have beer as they're not permitted to sell it there. To be honest, I need to give the Browns credit for allowing these food trucks to feed people that close to the stadium.I went ahead and ordered the polish girl. That's a tasty polish topped with pulled pork, sauce, fries, & coleslaw. The coleslaw was super sweet, which is how I like it. The pork is really tender and had great flavor, as well as the polish itself. I walked into the stadium nice & full.“
“When I walked in I was greeted very nicely, then proceeded to get a 2x4 thrown at me. I was then asked for my order and well , how do I say this, I ordered a simple burger and then was asked if I wanted to see how they got their beef, I was taken to the back and was then molested by 2-3 of their employees. I’m not complaining. 5 stars. Recommend“

“We had Old Carolina cater our wedding this last Saturday (2.24.24) at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland, OH and we cannot thank the staff enough. We opted for a buffet option which worked out so well. We are still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. When we were thinking about food for our wedding, I knew I wanted a barbecue buffet! Once we saw they were on the preferred list of vendors for Lake Affect Studios it was a no brainer and we went with them as our first choice. We used to love eating at Old Carolina when they had a restaurant in Mentor, OH. Kelsey was so helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to wedding day, and assisting with the set up the day before. They did an amazing job keeping everyone fed and the staff was friendly and efficient. They let us take home left over food and we were able to enjoy the barbecue even after our big day. “Perfectly local! Who knew that tucked between a wine bar and a hip eatery was Tommy's Place, a neighborhood bar in the middle of downtown Rocky River. Tommy's is quiet, full of regulars, not to mention the smell of popcorn and skeeball are enough to make you want to come back. Sit at the bar or on the front porch, either way stop in, play some keno and stay awhile. Will definitely be back.“

“I decided to order the famous Parmesan Crusted Lamb Chops that everyone has been raving about on TikTok. I also decided to grab a side of the Smokehouse Mac and Cheese. Even with me ordering it to-go, the food was still super fresh and it was all tasty! The portion sizes were also perfect for sharing if you aren’t able to eat it all alone. “Very good experience. The burger and fries were awesome. One thing I will note is that they add an extra 3% to all credit card payments. This is not the problem. The issue I have here is that the waitress did not inform me before she totaled my bill. I was paying in cash so this didn't apply to me. The waitress happily corrected it, but it all could have been avoided earlier.“

“Good food and good vibe. The star of this restaurant was the smoked sausage. The brisket came in second, it was very good but a bit too fatty. The ribs were also very good. The pulled pork was a bit dry and didn’t pack much flavor, but it didn’t take away from the meal as a whole.Sides: the potato salad my have been the best I have ever had!! Mac and cheese was good.Pickles surprisingly amazing!!!The service was good, its a friendly small divey place with almost diner vibes.“

“My only concern is if you make reservations six hours before your arrival time, your table should be ready when you arrive. But, overall, we had a waitress, who customer service skills were over the top. Rochelle was her name, and she was excellent! And showed the patience of Job with us. And that to me was much appreciated because so many times you go, they are understaffed, trying to do to many tables, and their patience is not very long, but with her, and I believe you were understaffed, she still showed expert courtesy!“
“Wife and I called in an order of pulled pork and the pulled chicken. Got green beans and coleslaw. And asked for an extra piece of cornbread. We had nitro been here before.It was a delicious dinner! All of it revery good!! We loved the pulled pork and cornbread the most but it all was excellent! Tender and delicious.When I got there I was greeted by ???. She was very nice! She gave me a free brownie because I had a little trouble ordering on line. And then at the end of the counter where I was to pick up my togo order Nat (?) gave me two free cookies because my wife and I were new customers! The cookies and brownie was nice to get, but the puled pork and cornbread are will bring us back!! And we definitely will be back soon!!! Great service and delicious food!!! ?✌️“
