“My boyfriend & I had lunch here yesterday on our last day of our trip to Ohio. The Owner’s son affectionately known as Ulee was our server/cashier . Our food was steaming hot and delicious ! Ulee’s excellent service made our visit a 10/10 service, we will most certainly be back when we come to Ohio.“
“Korean food here is really delicious and it's the best Korean BBQ!!!!!!You must come and try it.All the servers are also very kind, and the quality of the meat is just outstanding, with all the food exceeding expectations!Once you come here, you'll have to become a regular customer!!“
“Wonderful food as always. I can here for either the third or fourth time with my husband and my mother and grandmother. The food is always amazing. This is easily the best hot pot place in all of the Cleveland area, at least out of all the ones I have gone to. The only thing is that the service wasn’t that great today. We had to ask for utensils, plates, bowls, etc. Our server would disappear for 20-30 minutes at a time even though we were the only people there. At one point we had to go up to the front to ask the sushi chef for things because our server was nowhere to be found. The amazing quality of the food more than made up for the subpar service though. We will definitely be back.“
“Service was slow. Food was awesome, like usual. Love this restaurant. Would love it more if it didn't take so long to get our order.Parking: MayfieldKid-friendliness: Have been eating here for years. Enough options that most kids should find something to eat. Free popcorn.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to allow easy access into the building.“
“Look, I know this is going to sound crazy, but—So, this restaurant has the best egg rolls. It’s not even close. I mean, in the world. My egg roll consumption immediately increased from 1 to 100 (per year) after my first taste They’re crave-able. Order-on-their-own-able.But don’t.Order them alone.Because the rest of their menu is crazy good. Served hot and fresh and flavorful in all the best ways. Oh, yeah, they also have the best sweet and sour sauce. Also in the world. Freshly made in-house and noticeably less cloying as even the best of the rest. They know what they’re doing here. Trust them. Be grateful for their presence as I am. <3Also their fried rice is the best.“
“One of our new favorite KBBQ spots. Was hard to find at first, as it is inside this plaza with no markings on the outside. Inside there is an Asian market on the first floor and then you go up the stairs to the restaurant.Got both entrees and the BBQ and loved both!“
“Wonderfully surprised everything was delicious. The variety of sauces available to add to ur meal and the smoked chicken breast I had a hard time stopping myself from eating it all when I am not usually a chicken breadt fan. It was so moist and smoky. Will definitely add this to one of my favorite places to eat. Happy birthday Frank“
“I have never physically been to Mr. Jamaican Kitchen because I always order from Ubereats and my food is ALWAYS delicious. I order the Jerk Salmon and looking to try other items on the menu.I am going to visit one day and let them know how much me and my husband love the food???“
“Small restaurant with a limited, but tasty and reasonably priced menu with a spattering of unique offerings. Perfect for a quick bite & some wine. I hear their ribs are great, but we weren't hungry enough for that. AJ was very helpful recommending something light & quick (they were closing in 40 minutes) for dinner. He suggested an Italian wine which my husband said was fantastic. Food was made to order with attentive service. They have a large wine menu and an amazing selection of wines by the bottle in the adjoining room. We will come back on a Saturday for their rib special.“
“I ordered the rib tip dinner, and I have to say they're the best I have ever had. The tips were so tender they melted in your mouth. I was invited by Wendell and when he said "Oh, you'll be back" and I said sure I willHe was right, I will definitely be back!!!“
“Walking into Mendel’s KC BBQ in Cleveland, it felt like hitting the jackpot for anyone who appreciates solid, delicious comfort food with a bit of a twist. Starting off with the Haitian Bouillon was like getting a warm hug from your grandma — a beef stew so rich and hearty, with potatoes, spinach, and dumplings that made you feel all cozy inside. Then, diving into the appetizers was like going on a mini flavor adventure. The Pico Fries? Unreal. Imagine your favorite fries getting a makeover with pico de gallo, smoked chicken, avocado, a bit of sriracha heat, and that killer garlic aioli. It’s like a party in your mouth where everyone’s invited and having a blast. Those Texas Hot Links were no joke either. Just the right amount of heat, packed into a beef sausage that snaps with each bite. It’s the kind of appetizer that makes you nod to yourself, thinking, "Yep, they got this right."And don’t get me started on the Chicken & Waffles. That combo of cornbread waffle with crispy southern fried chicken, all drizzled with honey chili syrup, was nothing short of genius. Sweet, spicy, crispy, soft — it’s got all the contrasts that make you wonder why you don’t eat like this all the time.Finishing with the Pulled Brisket Flatbread was like the grand finale of this culinary concert. Smoked brisket, tangy pickled onions, fresh arugula, and that garlic aioli tying it all together — it was a masterpiece of flavors and textures.Mendel’s KC BBQ isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to experience food that’s comforting, delicious, and straight-up fun.“
“Initially gave the place 5 stars for service. Tonight was TERRIBLE. The food was terrible I barely ate it, we weren’t greeted for 15 minutes at our table. The waitress finally came with no apology very non chalant demeanor and careless. Never came back to table, had to pay online. Won’t return.“
“Evvie was super helpful when ordering at City BBQ today!!! So sweet and helpful, what a lovely young woman! The employees at City BBQ only make the dining experience that much more enjoyable! And, of course, the beef brisket is always amazing!!!“
“I went here yesterday evening. I liked that the food is cooked, once you place in order. I had the shrimp dinner, and it is mandatory that you get the sauce, that comes with it. It’s fantastic barbecue sauce. I actually was not hungry, but I wanted to taste the food while it was hot and fresh. I ended up going to sleep with a very full stomach. Lol. my mother ordered the ribs with fries that was smothered in the barbecue sauce. It was a great time for us both.Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat chicken, beef, pork, or anything outside of seafood, and they can accommodate.Parking: You can park in front of the restaurant, or on the side streets.“
“This was my first visit, and the gentleman that helped me was terrific. He gave me samples of the chicken to try, as I was concerned about how spicy it would be. He also told me about the ingredients of the side dishes. I just wish there were tables and not only a counter for eat-in dining. My food was DELICIOUS!Parking: There is a large lot in the back that is free.“
“I just left this this place feeling great, I walked in and the aroma instantly caught my attention I instantly craved homestyle cooking atmosphere was pleasant and the staff are just as pleasant I just moved around the corner and this is definitely going to be a place I will return to for the variety of options they have to offer I ordered a Polish boy a side of greens and candy yams which are freshly cut BTW. It's a pleasure to do business with you guys thank you for the great food today I'll be back see you soon“
“I have become a fan of goodfellas it’s a nice atmosphere to drink and get bar bites and beyond. Prices are very good and wait staff has always been polite. I did have one issue where I waited about an hour and a half. The owner or manager, a nice looking bald guy overheard me on the phone saying I had been waiting a hour and a half. I was being patient but he did imply I was exaggerating on my wait time even tho I wasn’t not even talking to him as I was on the phone. After he looked into my order come to find out it never went to the Bck to the cook in the system. Things happen so I wasn’t to upset I just wish he would have acknowledged the mistake especially after kind of accusing me of lying about my wait time. I end up switching my order from steak to wings thinking it would could out quicker it took another 45 mins as other patrons started to shuffle in. I didn’t get any kind of apology or comp to meal. I was not looking for anything free but at least a I apologize from the owner would have sufficed. He mad the statement of. I left out at 7 and didn’t see you implying I had not been waiting. When in reality I was. There was a point in time the waitress did say let me check on your food but assume she never did because that mistake would have been discovered sooner if she did. I think she may have been highly but she did apologize at least. But all in all my meal took 2:15 mins to come out got in at :7:30 didn’t get food to 9:45pm. It wasn’t busy cuz it’s was a snow storm. I was looking for acknowledgment and a rush on my order nothing free but I feel as ego played a part in how that went down and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I go about 3 times a week.“
“Amazing food, looooooong wait times. I had heard about this place from numerous Clevelanders. This is a go-to chicken spot for many of the locals. This place isn't in the nicest area, but like many good eateries, that is a sign that the food will be good. I walked in and saw a lobby full of partrons who looked hot and tired of waiting. I didn't mind this because I knew I wanted to try them. When I placed my order, the cashier told me it would be about 15 minutes. Around 40 minutes later, my number was called. I overheard some other patrons stating that the cashier tells everyone the same wait time. I ordered 10 wings and fries with sauce on everything and a Polish Boy.My biggest mistake was waiting until I got back to my hotel to dig in. Our hotel was about 30 minutes away, so that caused the heat from the hot food to make my wings and fries a bit soggy. But, I could tell that if I had eaten them sooner, they would've been even better. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good, but I should've tried it in the parking lot. The sauce is amazing, and it can be purchased in a bottle. It reminds you of the sauce that they used to carry at Hot Sauce WIlliams. The fries were decent, and the sauce drizzled on them, making them better. The Polish Boy was huge, sloppy, and full of flavor. That is exactly how a Polish Boy should be made and consumed. Pro Tips When you order, make sure you are not in a rush. Eat your food shortly after getting it to avoid it getting soggy. Purchase a bottle of sauce to go.WIngs 1-5=4.Fries 1-5=2.Polish Boy 1-5=4.Sauce 1-5=5!“
“I've been going to this place since I was in junior high (70's) ?.I sure miss the spot on Hayden. It's those hole in the wall / mom & pop spots that often have the best food with generous portions. 105th keep that original sauce, wings , fries, ribs, and polish boys going!Parking: When the food is that good, you'll park down the street & walk for it.“
“Alfredo is number one in Cleveland, there's better security and a more mature crowd, no Riff Raff, and the kitchen is off the chain, happy hour is a great time to get in and get out, with a bargain, stop by if you have a chance....Vegetarian options: Just let it be know to cook in a pan whatever it is you like when it comes to vegetables, they will make a wayParking: Plenty space and safe....Wheelchair accessibility: Yea there is back door service for wheelchair“
“I met the owner Ray. He's a great guy. We talked about character, hard work, and business. We got the Crowd Pleaser. It came with a whole slab of ribs, 8 chicken wing, green beans, and fries. About 9 - 12 individual ribs are on the slab. These ribs were sooooooo good though! They were smokey, tender, meaty, with a nice little crunch on the ourside. The fried chicken was super crispy. We had the sauce on the side so we could taste both sauce and no sauce. Both were good. The green beans were good and flavorful. My wife said it reminded her of greens. Finally the fries were crispy and crunchy.I have to say the best barbeque ribs and fried chicken in Cleveland hands down!!!!!!“
“If I could rate 10 stars for service I would! I had the pleasure of having John as my server and everything about him was overall pleasant! This was my first time at Longhorn and I was blessed to have John since he made my experience so great!“
“This was my first time eating at this establishment. My food was fresh, hot and a good portion size was given. The food was the best. The Barbeque sauce was amazing. I wish it was sold separately. I will certainly eat again and again at Carby's Soul Food.Parking: Small parking area outside of the restaurant. Additional parking is available if patrons enter through the Family Dollar entrance.“
