The staff here are always so nice when I come in to pick up my orders, they always get it perfect, and tell me to have a great day. That's why I travel out of my way for this location. đ«¶đ»
I stopped at this location today May 24th with my family for lunch. What a horrific experience.
I have never been so disrespected in a Chipotle. I had to ask for cheese three separate times because all they want to give you is three small fingers worth and was told anymore than that would be charged as extra cheese. No other Chipotle in Columbus does this. I was also told I could not get a large chip as part of my rewards, and they were removed from my tray and put back on the shelf. As if that wasnât enough I was told I could not have large cup for water, she only give out medium cups, although I was willing to pay for the cup. And the saga continued, the didnât have any ice.
While I remained in the store to eat with my family I watched several other black patrons walk thru this location and they were treated with respect and was offered multiple different items free of charge. The way this âmanagerâ was speaking to use was so disrespectful and when I ask for her manager name she quickly pointed to the business cards and said I was welcome to call. I took both cards and will call them both. Moral of this story is donât go here if youâre white.
I will never return to this location and quite frankly just reminds me why I donât frequent Chipotle. Sad excuse for a business in a neighborhood as nice as Grandview. I would never recommend this location to anyone.
I usually don't have bad experiences here at the Fifth Avenue and Northwest Blvd location, but today, I came after closing at work hoping to get some food for dinner. Admittedly it was late about 15 minutes until close but the sign on the door says open until 11p. I understand that it's frustrating but I just didn't have any food at home and wanted to spend my money there. Upon entering the store, I was told to leave by multiple employees, including a manager. Is there some sort of last call policy written somewhere, or did I just catch these people at the end of a rough shift?
Go in for a burrito bowl and swore the amount of toppings used were for soft tacos, hardly any at all. Won't be back.
Double chicken here is like barely a regular chicken everywhere else. Musics too loud, lady making my food barely spoke English and couldn't understand what I was saying. Got frustrated and just walked out.
I wanted to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had at your location on west 5TH Ave, Columbus, Ohio yesterday, May 2nd, 2025, around 6:35 PM.
Upon arriving, I ordered a bowl with light white rice, black beans, and triple chicken â Iâm fully aware there's an upcharge for triple chicken, and that was no issue. When I reached the next team member (who was very kind), I asked for the bowl to be smothered in cheese. She added a small amount, and I lightheartedly said, âOh, please, a lot more cheese â thatâs the best part!â
At that moment, a woman â who I assume was a manager â abruptly interjected in a stern voice, saying, âSIR, thatâs all she is permitted to give you. Anything additional is $1.50 per ounce.â I was taken aback, not just by the unexpected charge, but more so by the rude and unprofessional tone. I responded by pointing out that I wasnât asking for any additional toppings beyond cheese, and she firmly repeated, âThatâs the policy.â
I mentioned that Iâm a frequent Chipotle customer and have never encountered this response before. I also noted, somewhat sarcastically, that at $1.50 an ounce, thatâs $24.00 a pound â again, the cost wasnât the issue, it was the way it was handled.
Ultimately, I decided to leave without completing my order â resulting in a wasted bowl with light rice, triple chicken, black beans, and about an ounce of cheese. I then went to another Chipotle location closer to home, where I received the same order with no issues and was greeted by a friendly, professional team.
I understand the challenges of the current service industry, especially when it comes to staffing. However, the individual I encountered does not represent the values and service standards Iâve come to expect from Chipotle. Her demeanor was the opposite of what I would expect from someone in a customer-facing role.
Unfortunately, due to this experience, youâve lost a customer at that location â but I hope youâre able to address this internally so that others donât leave feeling the same way.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Sincerely,
Jim
charging for a steak bowl with extra chicken when I got 3 pieces of steak because she didnât tell me they were out of steak so I had to opt for chicken in the end is crazy. Standing behind the cashier on your phone afterward is also crazy. The cashier was nice though!
Nice service and delicious food. Great value. Iâll be back!!
Put more meat and everything else, I ordered burito bowl without bean, compensate in other ingredients
Service so bad its comical canât help but crack up every time I stop in

The worst chipotle
This might be the worst chipotle in the country
No ratings for no chipotle they have fell hard on disgusting food quality and cleanliness of some restaurants. It's just not the same anymore the chicken is not fresh the rice is mushy no taste to it and I tried the honey chicken awful it taste like old smashed up spicey chicken the chips taste like dirty oil and were stale as hell. Bexley, Gahanna, Pickerington, Reynoldsburg both they're locations and now Grandview, I go to different places in hopes for a Good burrito or bowel but no luck they're failing fast. I'm over Chipotle.
When I think back honestly all I ever ate and loved was Chipotle Period. What is going on do y'all not care anymore about y'alls food quality cause it shows talk...
Real Talk.....
They give you a quarter scoop of chicken and state thatâs a full serving⊠horrible service.
One of the worst Chipotle's I've been to. Seriously, this location should be shut down, I'm surprised it hasn't. First of all, there's poor customer service, the workers for the most part don't understand what the customers are saying (which would be fine), if it weren't for the fact that they had some of the most unhygienic practices I've seen. First of all, the counter is super gross, there were stray chunks of meat everywhere. I went there with my friend who's vegan, and they cross contaminated our foods. There's one particular barista (not sure what her name is but she's middle eastern), who would directly stick the serving spoons into each bowl. Serious cross contamination issue, and my friend found a chunk of chicken in her bowl later. They also charged us extra for guac, despite the fact that we ordered veggie bowls which come with guac. Customer service just added free guac to our account instead of refunding, as if we'd want to come back here smh. Don't waste your time or your money.
