Athena's Gyro House

Love love love Athena’s. The falafel pita is my go to but I’ve also had the spinach pie, fried mushrooms, chicken lemon soup (SO good!) and chicken gyro. Our little one loves the kid’s pita and my husband is obsessed with the Greek fries. Hidden gem in GC.

We have been wanting to try this place for months and finally made it over there. What a great, cute little restaurant. The gal who helped us was so sweet and we had a wonderful conversation! The food was all really tasty, but the gyro was AMAZING! The sauce is SO good! We will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic little spot in Grove city highly recommend to everybody 10 out of 10 will recommend

The gyros are great. A generous serving of meat and plenty of fresh lettuce and tomatoes also. Their french fries are always fresh and hot with just a dash of seasonings. The price is only $9. for a gyro and fries. They also have a large menu of other Mediterranean foods and desserts.
We get takeout dinner there at least once a week. A healthy alternative to burgers and fries.

Great Gyros, fries , and Garlic Sauce. They definitely pack it full of gyro meat. Doesn't get much better than here. The Greek fries are great as well.

My husband and I stopped by here randomly, I got the chicken gyro and he got chicken kebabs, everything was delicious!! Both dishes had a generous serving of chicken, and the tzatziki sauce was amazing (I am picky). The restaurant was clean (very important for me) and the staff very friendly. We will 100% be back!!

Very nice family restaurant. Fast friendly service. The prices and portions were great. I got the chicken gyro with fries. The fries were seasoned well. The gyro had good chicken on it with a great amount of toppings and sauce. Support this small business! If I wasn't moving away this would be my new go to work lunch spot.

My wife and I both had Greek salads. The salad and dressing were excellent. I had chicken on mine; my wife had falafel on her salad. Both were excellent- no skimping of portions. ?

Prices seem a bit higher, but we don’t mind it for good Mediterranean food. However, for prices higher than Aladdin’s, we prefer table service, plates, silverware. (The food is served in styrofoam boxes with plastic ware and without table service. This cheapens the experience.)

Front counter person was patient and pleasant.

The cola: interesting bottled beverages that were new for us to try. The Diet Cola grew on me, with its flowery notes. I wasn’t sold on it though I grew fonder of the taste as I finished the bottle. ?

All that said, Athena’s serves very good Mediterranean, and is really the only game in Grove City for this type of food.

Did I mention it’s much more affordable than most places around. For the money, hospitality, and food quality, you can’t go wrong with Athena’s. I am thankful to have good Greek food close by in Grove City!
