This is my first stop after work, when I work in the area. She’s so friendly and the food is amazing. It’s like comfort in a bag. The tamales ❤️ the gorditas 😍 and don’t forget the tortas 🥰 It’s been a year or so since my last visit where I live in West Virginia, but the food was even better than I remembered. Thank you 🙏🏻
This place is delicious! 20/10 do recommend. I tried a variety of items from quesa birria tacos, al pastor and carnitas street style tacos, the rice, salsa, chips, and a tamale! it was all incredible....I recently moved back to OH from CA and I grew up in the southern US states on traditional Mexican style cuisine. El Sabor de mi Patria is a food truck serving real Central American food. Bomb ass burritos and the ladies working there are very nice and thoughtful. Everything is very good, including the choriso quesadilla, chips and guac, and the tamales of Rajas con queso. The hot sauce is wonderful and was awesome mixed with the guac. The grilled onion served with the meal is great. The breakfast option is also appreciated. However, the French fries taste like old dirty grease with an uncomfortable already burnt taste. The gordita was toasted a little too much and was more crunchy than soft. The parking lot is hard to get into and accessibility is shitty; it is easy for a car to block it. The truck lot seems kinda crammed during lunch hrs. Despite this, service is fast and quick, with orders done in under 10 minutes. A little buzzer device is given so customers can chill in their car while they wait. Definitely going back for more.
