Sitting there and my friend threw his poles in and caught two nice ones within ten minutes. We seen some nice ones pulled out and it was a very peaceful place to get away for a few hours
The new owners have put a ton of work into the lake if you haven't been yet I suggest you get out there they have stocked a bunch of fish in there also it's not the same BJ's from the past it's new and improved!!

Always heard good things about this lake, our first trip out there we paid for a 12 hour ticket around 730pm and the employee running the place comes on the intercom and says they're closing at 1am ? we were reimbursed half the price of the ticket but that effectively ended our night as we have to plan our fishing trips well in advance and don't live anywhere near that area. If we had known earlier we could have relocated to another lake for the night. That was a huge inconvenience...read full review
