I have been a customer of this place, and have generally had good experiences. I'm sorry to see all the negative reviews, but I can understand some of the input. I did not see one single response from the owners, so I am not sure how much this feedback matters....I had dinner with an appetizer tonight; it was a $15 meal, and the chicken Kung Pao was absolutely terrible. Hong Kong Wok is always excellent!! It’s the only Chinese restaurant between Fairfield and Hamilton that I go to. I have never been disappointed.The owners are friendly and professional.
Our first time to order from Hong Kong Wok. We ordered Chicken w/Garlic Sauce. The dish had all fresh vegetables, green beans, carrots, broccoli, onion, red peppers, mushrooms, etc. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Sauce was dark and had a good balance of flavor and pleasantly sweet - not just soy sauce. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes.
