“Absolute gem in the tiny town of Hayesville! We stopped by to check this place out as we were driving through. Very cool, unique store with awesome selections of beers and wines. We each tried a sandwich at the deli, both were amazing and very reasonably priced. Stop in and check this place out, especially for lunch! They even have a nice sit down area inside and outside to enjoy your food. Looking forward to coming back!”

“I traveled the state and always look for a good coffee shop and just discovered this gem. Had the best coffee ever in my 53 years on the planet. The elephant and tiger roast is incredible. The staff was wonderful. It's a nice little shop. WILL be back.”

We both had the pulled pork Mac and cheese, and the brisket rolls, which were also amazing, that is actually the first time I’ve had brisket.. This was my very first time in this restaurant also and I was beyond impressed… the server was very helpful and friendly. Especially when we told her it was our first time in there..she told us about entrees and what she recommended.. just a great experience all around.. Thank you! I wish EVERY place was like that!”

“The best ice cream cake we’ve had! We did a simple Chocolate/Vanilla double layer with fudge filling. We added crushed Oreos to the filling & it was amazing. We highly recommend & will be ordering again. I appreciated the texts I received to ensure the colors matched her theme & it turned out perfectly. “Pizza was nice and fresh. The hot bbq boneless wings had amazing flavor. My wife doesn’t drink alcohol but made the mistake of ordering a hard seltzer. Our server fixed it for her quickly, even though it was our mistake. Everytime we come the service is consistent as well as the food. Will be a place we frequent as it gets warm to enjoy the outside seating.

“Tried this on a recommendation and will definitely be back! I love Mexican food but this place has unique options in addition to the standards. Their guacamole is the best I’ve ever had, the chipotle shrimp was perfectly done and my husband’s barbacoa tacos were delicious. The rice side (that I never bother to eat anywhere else) was great. Their refried beans were even good! Our server had several tables and juggled them all like a champ. It’s hard to find good servers and this guy was doing the work of at least 2 people - he was tipped accordingly. Our bill was under $40 and, for the quality of food we had, was a total bargain.”

“Donna D was revommended to me by friends in ashland for a rehearsal dinner (the groom wanted pizza) i called a week prior and they helped me order for a large group.I had to change delivery time and everyone was nice about that. Delivery guy was great as well. Had lots of compliments on he pizza by out of town guests as well. would totally recommend again. ps- the chicken bacon ranch pizza was awesome.”

We were greeted upon entry and asked if we had been in before when we responded no they were quick to give us a tour and help our family get some yummy treats to cool off! very friendly staff, clean establishment, affordable and very yummy! we love that they offer dairy free options which is a must for half of our family! we will definitely be back and I highly recommend! 5 stars”

“I grew up in Ashland. Class of '69 from AHS. In high school we used to cruise around A&W, Red Barn, Dari Dolli across the street. After a bit of cruising. We'd meet classmates and friends at A&W have coneys & root beer floats. It was owned by local family for decades. I was told by family in Ashland, that it finally sold to someone outside the family. But that they sold the original recipes. I don't live in Ashland anymore. Live an hour north. But when I am in Ashland my very first stop is to go to A& W. Close to closing time for the winter is get a couple gallons of root beer and about a dozen footlong conveys. Take then all apart, freeze them. Then enjoy them in winter. Not quite as good a fresh but still great. A&W is a great place to frequent if local. And a great place for tourists. it has been in the same location for over 54 year. Great fun and even better food. It really is a part of Ashland's history. Love the place. Trudy Metzger-Kearns”
