“Absolute gem in the tiny town of Hayesville! We stopped by to check this place out as we were driving through. Very cool, unique store with awesome selections of beers and wines. We each tried a sandwich at the deli, both were amazing and very reasonably priced. Stop in and check this place out, especially for lunch! They even have a nice sit down area inside and outside to enjoy your food. Looking forward to coming back!”

“My boyfriend and I were in here a couple weeks ago, everything was great, food was amazing! We both had the pulled pork Mac and cheese, and the brisket rolls, which were also amazing, that is actually the first time I’ve had brisket.. This was my very first time in this restaurant also and I was beyond impressed… the server was very helpful and friendly. Especially when we told her it was our first time in there..she told us about entrees and what she recommended.. just a great experience all around.. Thank you! I wish EVERY place was like that!”

“I traveled the state and always look for a good coffee shop and just discovered this gem. Had the best coffee ever in my 53 years on the planet. The elephant and tiger roast is incredible. The staff was wonderful. It's a nice little shop. WILL be back.”

“The best ice cream cake we’ve had! We did a simple Chocolate/Vanilla double layer with fudge filling. We added crushed Oreos to the filling & it was amazing. We highly recommend & will be ordering again. I appreciated the texts I received to ensure the colors matched her theme & it turned out perfectly. “Came in Saturday 5/24/25. The wings are incredible. Spencer and Vickie were the best. Thankfully Rhonda wasn't here based on the previous review. We will be keeping an eye out. Hopefully leadership has addressed this. Go for the Parmesan Garlic wings. Minimum 12 count you won't regret it. I will adjust the rating if we encounter Rhonda and is as great as the previous reviewer suggests.”

They do offer flights of margaritas so you can sample different flavors. Staff is very friendly and service super fast.”

“Excellent service. Clean, comfortable and spacious environment. Crab cake appetizer was cooked to perfection and the sauce so delicious I wanted to lick the plate. Chicken sandwich was moist and tasty.Then the sweet potato fries with a light dipping sauce seemed to have a slight hint of maple. Hamburger steak was deliciously smothered with a generous portion of onions mushrooms and cheese. Oh the Dutch peach pie with perfectly cooked peaches… (still drooling). We will be back and soon!”

“I grew up in Ashland. Class of '69 from AHS. In high school we used to cruise around A&W, Red Barn, Dari Dolli across the street. After a bit of cruising. We'd meet classmates and friends at A&W have coneys & root beer floats. It was owned by local family for decades. I was told by family in Ashland, that it finally sold to someone outside the family. But that they sold the original recipes. I don't live in Ashland anymore. Live an hour north. But when I am in Ashland my very first stop is to go to A& W. Close to closing time for the winter is get a couple gallons of root beer and about a dozen footlong conveys. Take then all apart, freeze them. Then enjoy them in winter. Not quite as good a fresh but still great. A&W is a great place to frequent if local. And a great place for tourists. it has been in the same location for over 54 year. Great fun and even better food. It really is a part of Ashland's history. Love the place. Trudy Metzger-Kearns”

“Dairy Bar is my cute little “greasy spoon” staple place to eat in Ashland. It’s the place where I take any out-of-town friends to, so that they can have awesome diner food and wonderful prices. The staff is fantastic, and I love feeling like a “regular” every time my husband and I come in, because they remember our order every time. It is a wonderful and comfortable casual place to grab a bite.”

We were greeted upon entry and asked if we had been in before when we responded no they were quick to give us a tour and help our family get some yummy treats to cool off! very friendly staff, clean establishment, affordable and very yummy! we love that they offer dairy free options which is a must for half of our family! we will definitely be back and I highly recommend! 5 stars”

“We were there with about 15+ total of my family over the weekend, and we were SO impressed by everything about this place. The food was incredible, the service was outstanding, and they accommodated our large group so well! My personal favorite touches were that the food was brought out promptly, and there was constantly someone coming to our table to fill our water glasses or take our dishes as soon as they were empty. The food I got was incredible, and I highly recommend the Karen sushi roll. To die for! I wish I lived in Ashland, because I would be there all the time! Thank you so much for everything!”
