“Absolutely loved the ambience and the food and to take in the whole experience!!! Price point appears appropriate. The only downside was the “noise level” of the 10 or 12 seat table in the middle of the room that included a baby. Too often sets the tone of the room to be too loud. Not what you want to enjoy on a Saturday night “date night out.””

“The service is phenomenal and the food is delicious. They do karaoke twice a week and “jam night” on Fridays where you can hear local artists. Darts, pool, foosball, it’s a fun place to be.”

“My family and I came here to celebrate my birthday. We had a great meal and great time! The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The portions were generous! We had yellow perch, scallops, salmon and Mac and cheese with lobster chunks. All were very good. This little place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.”

“The Rio Cafe serves fresh, well prepared food with a menu ranging from smoothies to dishes with a Mexican touch. The soups are excellent especially the tomato bisque. Service is warm and personal. This is the best place to eat breakfast or lunch in Great Barrington.”

“I was shopping there on a Wednesday evening. Somehow I left my wallet and I did not realize that until Friday. I was in Cleveland at the time in panic mode because everything was in my wallet. I called Meijers Friday afternoon told him about the losing my wallet they're using it they're not sure if I left it. I was really not sure where it I miss placed it, they looked and they had my wallet. I went to pick it up Sunday morning and I got my wallet back and everything was in my wallet. My credit cards my money. The staff at Meijers grocery store was amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you guys save my sanity. It's been years since I've been to Meijers. I will definitely go back because it is a beautiful store and the prices aren't that bad. Once again, thank you for everything.”

“Our group of 7 enjoyed our drinks and food. The only disappointment was the volume of the live music. The musician was very good but had the volume at concert level, not restaurant. Our group hadn't seen each other in a while, and we were out for dinner and to catch up, not for a concert. My steak was prepared perfectly, and the pizza was very good. We enjoyed the onion rings appetizer too.”

“Great food, cool atmosphere, lively! You won't go home hungry. It did take 45 mins to an hour from when we ordered to when we received food. For this reason alone we probably won't return. If you're going, be prepared to wait. A couple sides were missing but they brought them right out.”
