“My daughter has wanted to try this place for awhile. We finally had the chance today and I wish we hadn't. The burgers looked more boiled than grilled or seared. One of our plates sat in the window for almost 10 minutes waiting for the other 3 to get done. The toast wasn't even warm enough to melt butter. They served me a frozen salad with ice in it and seemed bothered that I wanted it taken off my bill. Also didn't get refills to our table. So many better places to eat nearby.”

“Angel was very helpful when needing to find something she’s willing to help get it and get me in and out back on the road. people these days don’t do that. She was running the kitchen and register. My food was made perfect and she got me cashed out in no time at all.”

“Being near Rocky Fork State Park in the eastern part of Highland County with very few stores in the area makes this the place to shop. They have self storage units at below market rates (which is why I was there), a uhaul dealership and competitive gas prices. They sell a generous selection of groceries with a deli, they sell state lottery tickets and newspapers. They sell beer. And they have a very good takeout kitchen. They have the best pizzas in the area.”

“Let me start off by saying that I appreciate the reviewer that let you know that this is not a restaurant. It helped me reset my expectations. At the time that I was looking at this food option, there were two reviews for this. One really good and one really bad. I wanted to see which way I would go myself. It is inside a convenience store. The place looks like it used to be nice, but is ctrently not being well maintained. But it looks like the food area is pretty clean. They didn't have a lot of chicken options out so they are making mine to order. They have tables that look like the are left over from when there was a (Subway?) in there. However, they have extra product for the shelf on the tabletops and in the seats. The store feels overcrowded. The food is good. Like a standard broaster chicken with a like bit of a good spiciness. Based on the very positive review, I drove a bit out of my way to try this. I do not believe that it was good enough for that. But definitely good enough to have if you are in the area. I ate one piece of chicken as soon as I got out to my vehicle to try it fresh and then had a second piece when I got home approximately 45 minutes later. It was still a good temperature and had good flavor. I was hoping to eat inside, especially since they had tables/booths, but they seem to do everything short of totally discourage you from using the booths.”

“They are amazing! My husband works at the local hospital and it was going to be his birthday. He works over an hour from our house so me bringing a cake was not feasible with children. So I messaged them my idea and they 100% made it come true. On top of all that they delivered it for me to the hospital. My husband laughed and said the cake was Amazing, and so did his co-workers! I 100% recommend them for all your future events you will not regret it!”

“Have to give a huge shoutout to Mimi’s Kitchen for the most amazing cheesecake! We tried the blueberry and peppermint bark, and hands down—some of the best cheesecake we’ve ever had. Creamy, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. If you haven’t tried Mimi’s Kitchen yet, we highly recommend treating yourself. You won’t regret it! Wish I would have taken a picture to share, however, it was just too good and we ate them quite quickly.”

“It took as long as ordering a pizza from pizza hut when you dine in. And we went through the drive thru 1 pizza, breadsticks, cheese sticks & 1 order of pizza puffs. It took over 15 minutes to get our food.”

“Been visiting this restaurant for over 20 yrs in both locations...it is always fast friendly and accurate ...they always catered to a special order so that I could carry them 300 miles back home to WV with me ...glad to be back and now I can have weekly visits !!!!”
