We hadn't been here in over a year. It took a min to see a waitress but they were busy as it was a Friday night. I ordered a mushroom steak hoagie with onion and my husband got a pizza and wings. Once our food came out I noticed there were no onions on my hoagie. I took a bite and couldnt taste any either. I asked the waitress for some on the side. She said that she saw some on the hoagie but they were chopped very fine. She went back to get me some. I kid you not, she brought out rehydrated mince onions! I thought they were garlic at first. After I smelled it I realized what was going on. There was no way she saw any on the hoagie. My husband didnt see any onions on his pizza either. Someone needs to tell them that rehydrated onions are not going to taste the same as real onions on pizza or a hoagie. It works on a white castle or McDonald's burger but not a hoagie or pizza. I have a picture of it but for some reason I cant upload one on here? My husband did like his wings tho. Oh and the parking lot was super dark, we thought they were closed at 1st.

First time there. Had breadsticks and a meat pizza. Breadsticks was bland with little to no seasoning on them. Pizza had alot of toppings and tasted pretty good. Server was very friendly and the food came out pretty quick. They wasn't very busy when we arrived but it was filling up fairly quickly by the time we left. I would eat here again.

Not a good dining experience. We first ordered our drinks. One beer, one sweet tea, and one glass of water. The beer and tea came a few minutes later, but no water. We placed our food order. Our order consisted of a salad, loaded fries, and two calzones. After 30 to 40 minutes of waiting, my wife asked the server about our order. The server apologized for the delay and said she would check. My wife asked if we could at least get our salad. A few minutes later the server showed up with salad and two calzones. The calzones were loaded with ingredients that we didn't order so they had to be sent back. We ate the salad and waited patiently. I ordered a second beer when the food came out the first time but it never came out. After finishing our salad, the server comes over with the loaded fries and said do you still want these. My wife responded by saying yes, we have to eat something. At that point the loaded fries were thrown on the table and the server stormed off. That was the final nail in the coffin. We went to the check out and requested our bill. The first check had every item we ordered so we reminded them that we didn't receive the calzones. They couldn't figure out how to remove them so the applied a discount and said it should be close. The service has always been on the slow side, but the food is usually good. This evening was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. Throwing food on a customers table is not acceptable. Not receiving a salad and appetizer before the main meal is poor service. The main dish not being properly prepared is a result of poor attention to detail. Unfortunately, this is the last time we dine here. Very disappointing to say the least.

I travel around the state a lot, and I always try the calzones at a lot of different places. In my opinion, there is no better calzones anywhere than big Ernie’s. Their pizzas are very good and I really like their appetizers.
As far as atmosphere, it is just a pizza place so it’s about average, but I’m not there for the ambience. I’m there for the food.
Service is quick though sometimes at the drive-through I have to wait longer than I think I should for someone to answer. I believe that had to do with the old doorbell that they had so they may have upgraded that.
When I do dine in with friends, I do wish the music wasn’t as loud because I have difficulty hearing them, but I would not call it overly loud.

Got a pizza with family and went to pick it up and it was cold when got it home and only 10 minutes away. The cheese was not the best quality but overall had a good taste. I think they need a warmer to keep food warm until it is picked up. We picked it up in 20minutes or so and should have been warm.
