“Maggie's was absolutely amazing! Fantastic little place by Hiram College, a cozy little college town. I photograph dog sports over at Duke's K9 Dash N' Splash and wanted to bring the crew there a special treat of donuts. Got donuts, coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was WONDERFUL! Can't wait to go back when I'm in the Hiram/Windham/Kent/Streetsboro region in June!”

“I went in for the first time on Saturday with my friend Tracy, we were able to sit down and enjoy our quiche (mushroom, onion and spinach) and coffee. That quiche was amazing! The crust was perfect! I got my husband a ham and Swiss croissant that I had to try, wow! It was amazing! The cannoli was okay. I am a bit of a snob with cannolis only because my grandma made the best and no one has ever compared to hers. And last thing the husband and I tried were their ho-ho’s. I never had a homemade one, that was really great too! I can’t wait to go back soon!”

Literally was going through one of the hardest times of my life and between the bartenders to cooks they all welcomed me with open arms and been nothing besides a vessel of love that had a ear to listen and a heart to care. You can clearly see that the people who work here are all very genuine, authentic, caring people. I don’t drink much but even with that being said the food and entertainment that they offer is the best compared to local places near by. But none as magical and wonderous as Mulligans Pub.The sound of gravel under your tires begins the transport process, which is completed the moment you cross the threshold and enter into this new dimension. The owner Ryan couldn't be more hospitable and welcoming. He'll great you with an ice-cold beer pulled from the back of the beer cooler (cause that's where the really cold ones are). The selection of beverages is staggering considering the unassuming nature of this roadside oasis that boasts a driving range and plenty of indoor activities to keep you busy and working up a thirst.Upon visiting the bar, you'll be captivated by Ryan's stories and musings about life, current events, his personal observations, or just about any other topic imagined and some not. He alone is worth the price of admission and then some.You might meet Bently. Or Sasha. Or both. At the same time.So, if you're like me, and you've passed by Mulligans Pub and said quietly to yourself, 'I gotta stop in there one of these days to check it out', and kept driving.....don't. Don't be like me. It brings me a great deal of sadness to think of all I've missed by driving by. Stories untold. Stories I could have been a part of.The only saving grace is that I probably look a little younger having avoided this place for so long. On account of all the laugh lines I would have if I was a regular.Yes, Mulligans Pub gets 5 stars from me. But ONLY because 5 stars is the highest score I'm allowed to give. Cause if it was zero to a kajillion....I would give it a kajillion. And then I would write Google a handwritten letter on my personal stationary to petition raising the amount of stars you are allowed to give to whatever is more than a kajillion. And I would eloquently state my case for Mulligans Pub using some of the points illustrated above.So, don't be me. Stop in. Have a beer. Meet Ryan. You will thank me. In fact, meet me there and I'll let you buy me a beer. An ice cold one from the back.

Parking: The gravel parking lot is plentiful, welcoming and almost magical in its ability to usher you in to the wonder of Mulligans Pub. In fact, it's kinda like walking through the line at an awesome ride at Disney World.”
