“McDonald's in Garrettsville was a completely different experience than I've had in a long time. Cortland McDonald's is nothing by comparison. Some of the things that Garrettsville got right that Cortland hasn't in a very long time:

✅ The fries. Hot, Fresh, and for the first time in forever I got fries from McDonald's that were ACTUALLY SALTED! Crazy, I know.
✅ The burgers: Fresh, not dried out, and well-seasoned
✅ Possibly the most impressive: The drinks were not only still on the dollar drink sale, they also actually tasted like the drink requested and not with some strange kind of taste that feels like the machine wasn't cleaned properly in a long time.

I don't know what kind of dark magic Garrettsville McDonald's has enacted to make it all so good, but if Cortland could get half as much as what I experienced in Garrettsville, I might actually stop there more often than once every 3 months or so when family comes to visit”

“We stopped today at a VERY busy time because it was during the Garrettsville community sale. We were totally impressed with the speed of service, both in ordering our food and receiving our food! Plus...the tables were continually cleaned so that people were able to sit comfortably and eat. GREAT JOB! Kudos to the entire staff!”

“We live in Newton Falls and we’re driving thru Garretsville and decided to stop at this location. Wow! It was great! The food was hot, the cheese was melted like it was supposed to be. We had quit going to Taco Bell in NF due to quality however the Garretsville location if there food is always like this is worth driving too. We got 3 Crunchwrap's supreme with sc, a deluxe supreme box and two Doritos hard tacos. Love that the drive thru is an automatic teller. It was quick and efficient. We will be back :)”

“Maggie's was absolutely amazing! Fantastic little place by Hiram College, a cozy little college town. I photograph dog sports over at Duke's K9 Dash N' Splash and wanted to bring the crew there a special treat of donuts. Got donuts, coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was WONDERFUL! Can't wait to go back when I'm in the Hiram/Windham/Kent/Streetsboro region in June!”

“I had the chicken parmigiana sandwich with fries. A nice breast of chicken with an excellent tasting marinara sauce. Another diner had the taco special which he enjoyed thoroughly. What was especially noteworthy was the excellent service. Our group made several requests that might be considered unusual but were accommodated cheerfully. We also got a kick out of the signage.”

“Food was 10/10. But my favorite part was when the Italian Grandma came in with more girl scout cookies than you could ever think of. Offered to sell us the whole big box for half off today only. Definitely an experience. When she talked to another lady in the back in Italian it just made me feel like I was at home!!”

“I went in for the first time on Saturday with my friend Tracy, we were able to sit down and enjoy our quiche (mushroom, onion and spinach) and coffee. That quiche was amazing! The crust was perfect! I got my husband a ham and Swiss croissant that I had to try, wow! It was amazing! The cannoli was okay. I am a bit of a snob with cannolis only because my grandma made the best and no one has ever compared to hers. And last thing the husband and I tried were their ho-ho’s. I never had a homemade one, that was really great too! I can’t wait to go back soon!”
