The place was hopping and the staff stayed on top of it. Chefs super friendly and thanked us for coming. Food was promptly brought out hot, coffee cup was never empty. “Found this adorable place where we stopped for lunch. I had a chicken/bacon/ranch wrap and my friend had a quinoa protein salad bowl with sweet potatoes etc. Food was extremely fresh! We both loved our food as we stayed to people watch and sit at one of the cute tables. Then we bought 4 different bakery products to take home with us. ALL were very good but the cheesecake was our favorite. Our second favorite were the pecan tassie bars. We highly recommend DS Cakes & Sweet Cafe. Everything was reasonably priced, and it is a bright, clean, fun place to visit.”

What was especially noteworthy was the excellent service. Our group made several requests that might be considered unusual but were accommodated cheerfully. We also got a kick out of the signage.”

“Food is tasty at a great price. it's a very welcoming restaurant with good service. That said we got four dishes and a soup: (1) the tuna salad was excellent (although the menu says it contain cucumbers and it did not), (2) the pasta Santa Fe was quite good but could have used a few more vegetables for the price, (3) the tortellini Florentine soup was OUTSTANDING! (4) the Italian sub was WORLD CLASS! (5) and the meatballs were fresh and flavorful but toooo salty.”
