“Found this adorable place where we stopped for lunch. I had a chicken/bacon/ranch wrap and my friend had a quinoa protein salad bowl with sweet potatoes etc. Food was extremely fresh! We both loved our food as we stayed to people watch and sit at one of the cute tables. Then we bought 4 different bakery products to take home with us. ALL were very good but the cheesecake was our favorite. Our second favorite were the pecan tassie bars. We highly recommend DS Cakes & Sweet Cafe. Everything was reasonably priced, and it is a bright, clean, fun place to visit.”

“I would recommend King Cone in Perry to anyone coming Lake County. I usually have a great experience, but tonight was kinda lackluster. My go to order has always been the peanutbutter piggy with banana soft serve instead of the twist ice cream. I've never had any issues in the past, but tonight I was told that they are unable to switch out the the soft serve to banana ice cream. I pointed out that it has never been an issue in the past and they apologized and said that they were trained that they can not swap out the soft serve for the speciality sundaes. I chose to let it go, and then asked if I can just get vanilla ice cream instead of the twist(I don't like chocolate ice cream) and they said that the can do that. I recieved my order and it was twist ice cream. to say the least I was a bit disappointed. I guess its time to try something new on the menu.... ☹️”

“Great find! Would never have guessed a gem in a little strip mall. Super clean and tastefully decorated. (I am bias to Roosters however) Top notch service! The place was hopping and the staff stayed on top of it. Chefs super friendly and thanked us for coming. Food was promptly brought out hot, coffee cup was never empty. Great selection of breakfast items, we wanted to try everything! Reasonably priced! Highly recommend! Please support local establishments like The Sleepy Rooster!”

You can taste the difference in every bite -- from the perfect dough crust to the rich, flavorful sauce and the freshest toppings I've ever had. They clearly use only the best ingredients, and it shows. What really sets them apart is the passion of the staff. You can tell they truly love what they do -- every interaction feels warm, genuine, and full of pride for their craft. They even gave the children a behind-the-scenes tour, which was such a fun and unique experience! The children loved being able to make their own pizza. Learning about their sourcing made me appreciate their pizza even more. This isn't just a meal -- it's an experience. If you love pizza, you need to come here. I'm already planning my next visit!”

“The staff were friendly. The coffee and bake goods were delicious. This was the first time I visited this location. It was smaller than I expected. We were there on a Tuesday at 2:00pm. When we arrived, all but 1 table was taken up by people who obviously were there for the day using it for office space. Many people came in after us and had nowhere to sit. We even shared our table with 2 other people. I almost felt like this location had a bar atmosphere more than a coffee shop atmosphere; loud rock music, loud baristas trying to talk over the music. The atmosphere was completely different than their other locations.”

“Wow! What a fantastic place this is. I was expecting to go in a get a hotdog for lunch. Was greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. That never happens anymore these days. It was the owners mother taking my order and she went over the entire menu with me. I got a chilly dog, a taco gordito dog, a pot roast loaded baked potato and a shrimp Caesar loaded baked potato. Took it to my parents and we were absolutely amazed how good this food was. Just a fantastic place with fantastic food with fantastic people. I am so glad I stopped in. I will be back for sure. Highly recommend this place!!”
