Overlooked for service. Others served before my wife and I, and had they arrived after we did. Poor service. Do not go here if you want fair service.

Each time I have came here the food and service is amazing. I also celebrated my birthday here and they have a fun desert for your birthday of you ask which I loved.

Big bold vibes and great decor, generously portioned food with a good and unique variety. Very cool spot that easily stands out from the other chain Mexican restaurants in the area, great celebration spot or family friendly restaurant equally.

My husband and I seldom go out to dinner. On this rare occasion we decided to go to Mexican. El Asadero was recommended. The food was okay, nothing really special. I ordered a child’s meal due to stomach issues. I cannot eat a lot at one time. My husband ordered from the Al-a-cart. No drinks. The cost was near $30! For a kids meal, 3 tacos, and a tostada. Ridiculous!

Was excited to take my daughter for the birria ramen only to find out they use cup noodles for it. I dont want to pay $13 for some cup noodles with a little bit of beef in it. Definitely won't be back.
I am from So. CA so I have a good idea of what Mexican food is. I got chicken enchiladas with 3 different sauces to give a fair shot (Mole, Bang Bang sauce, and creamy green sauce). It was just meh - the chicken wasn't seasoned at all, and the three different sauces didn't add much flavor. Of the three, I liked the Bang Bang sauce the best, but I have never seen a sauce like that in a Mexican restaurant before. I went on taco Tuesday, and they had periods where they dimmed the lights, pumped the music and a robot-esqe dude walked around dancing. The atmosphere was fun. My plate was $18.99, so I am not sure I would go back since the food didn't warrant that price in my opinion.

I have been to El Asadero 3 or 4 times at this point and I don't think I will be coming back. Not only is the food overpriced (I can get the same food for $3-$4 less at El Toro or La Fiesta), but the service is always painfully slow and never good. The food came out before the drinks came this last time I went. Lastly, while using the restroom, I saw a cook come out of the stall and not wash his hands before returning to work. I spoke to the manager about this and the manager said 'Okay' and nothing else. Not very assuring that my food is being prepared by people following proper food safety standards. I will not be coming back
