Great seafood and outstanding crab cakes! The Sands offers an outstanding menu heavy on the seafood. This was 3rd time eating there and finally tried the boil in bag seafood boil. You can mix, match and customize these to your tastes including getting spicy and I was very happy with my choice of scallops plus I had them add some cajun sausage. The menu is huge. Atmosphere was ok, certainly could use a deep clean, bathrooms did not smell good at all. Service was absolutely incredible, the team did a great job, actually very impressive. Food was hit and miss. Fried catfish was great, clam chowder was good. Gumbo, aeh.... not so hot. Didn't taste like typical Gumbo. I will return, but will not be frequently.
