Rowdy's Smokehouse is the best this side of Texas! They have a tender selection of slow-smoked brisket, pork, and chicken - all served various ways. The sides are to die for - try the potato salad and coleslaw! They are extremely attentive to any food concerns and all portions are huge. The atmosphere is alive and upbeat with live music, patio seating, and a cornhole game. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. Best to arrive early as it gets crowded quickly in the evenings!

Would like to rate better and say the food was good. Problem was we waited a hour and 20 minutes and never got our food and finally left. Fist they said they didn't know how I wanted my steak then came out and said they was out of pulled pork for my boys sandwich next they didn't have enough room on the grill for my wife's chicken meal that she had ordered then it was they couldn't get her chicken cooked right. It was just 1 excuse after another. The only good thing was the refund and a gift card they gave us. Hope no one else has to deal with this.

The food was not hot small portions and the brisket was to smoky tasting the macaroni and cheese was cold the cheese was stiff from the cold temp very disappointing I talked my wife into coming here for valentines in stead of going to the ribber we was looking forward to the steak and big potato only to find out it would be a hour for the potato and 30 40 mins on steak very disappointing

Stopped by Rowdy’s for dinner with my dog since they have plenty of outdoor seating. Ordered the chicken nachos with a side of mac & cheese. The former was pretty good, although the cheese-sauce left something to be desired, but the latter was some of the worst I’ve ever had. Definitely avoid the mac & cheese. Wound up chatting briefly with the woman at my hotel’s front desk when I was taking my dog out to potty later that night and she told me that the loaded potato was by far the best thing on the menu, and as a local I’m libel to assume she’s correct and wish I would have asked before I went.
They also only serve their sides and beer in styrofoam and plastic containers respectively, so that’s also not great. Serving food in trash that will be around far longer than the rest of my lifespan is the sort of nameless memorial to my existence that I’m not proud to be leaving behind.
Long story short: I’ll be getting the potato upon my next visit.
