Rowdy's Smokehouse is the best this side of Texas! They have a tender selection of slow-smoked brisket, pork, and chicken - all served various ways. The sides are to die for - try the potato salad and coleslaw! They are extremely attentive to any food concerns and all portions are huge. Stopped by Rowdy’s for dinner with my dog since they have plenty of outdoor seating. Ordered the chicken nachos with a side of mac & cheese. The former was pretty good, although the cheese-sauce left something to be desired, but the latter was some of the worst I’ve ever had. Definitely avoid the mac & cheese. Love it, love everything about it. Delicious, juicy brisket at a very reasonable price. Love how Constitutionally friendly they are, too! Best place for food in Jackson. Only wish they sold bottled water in glass bottles!
