Stopped for dinner while on a road trip. I prefer family places over chains, and this place was good. Wings are lightly breaded, smoked, and flash fried. The potato salad is mayonnaise based, and VERY SWEET. The baked beans were sweet as well. Brisket was great, with a nice crust. The smoked sausage was local and good. The smoked chicken was awesome, definitely get that if you get a sampler. The ribs had a decent smoke flavor and crust, but were tougher than I’m used to-you had to really pull to get the meat off the bone. Mashed potatoes & gravy was good.

We always like to stop by when we’re in the area; usually get great food and service. But today was less than a favorable visit. After we ordered and got our drinks, we waited about 15 minutes for our order. They brought my wife’s salad out with her food; usually they bring it out prior to the main course. So her meal was getting cold while she ate her salad. No one came by to ask if we wanted anything else (i.e. refills/desserts). So we left very disappointed. Not like it used to be.

When I say I’m excited about the food, that’s an understatement! I’m a truck driver, so I get to taste food from all over the country, but this spot is hands down my new favorite BBQ place. I ordered the brisket and ribs with green beans and potato salad. The brisket was the star of the show—tender, flavorful, and a solid 10/10 along with the potato salad. Honestly, I’m mad I didn’t order extra brisket and potato salad to take with me! On top of that, the staff made me feel truly welcome and treated me with the utmost respect. Great food, great people—I’ll definitely be back!

Stopped here while on a road trip. Amazing customer service. Girl at the front was so sweet. And I’m from Texas and that was some of the best brisket I’ve ever had! We ordered it lean and sliced. It was so tender and flavorful. Great pecan pie too. We are making sure we stop on the way back!

Never been here before. We are camping about 25 min away. Wanted some good Bbq. This place is amazing. Some of the best bbq we have ever had. Give it a try.

We come twice a year to the area and this is a must for us. We've had great food and service each time. This was the first time I had chicken. It was smokey and moist. Great as always!
