The food here is absolutely amazing I live an hour away and I'm willing to drive that hour just for their tacos their food is truly that good, I will say I've been there on a weekday a few times during that afternoon and the food wasn't as good (I'm assuming because it wasn't busy) and sometimes human make mistakes it happens it just happens more on weekdays rather than on weekends for them, other than that the inside is always clean and beautiful the food is to die for an they are always nice and willing to fix any mistakes made and are extremely easy to talk to when ordering and everything else! 9.5/10

they charge a service fee dining in the restaurant. This may also apply to takeout orders. It was my first time at this location, and while the service was excellent, I found the food to be lacking. The tacos were quite dry, and there wasn't much meat, which was disappointing compared to my experiences at other Barrio locations. Overall, the service was great, but the food lacked and i have a thing with service charges. Wont be back.

Not going to lie, what I was told was really hoping this place up for me, and I was disappointed. I loved the decor, the Day of the Dead theme was exactly my type of vibe. But that's about all I had positive thoughts for. Our wait to get seated was short, with the host having somewhat of an attitude. Tone, verbiage, body language; he didn't seem like he wanted to be there or maybe he had a run-in with a negative person, I don't know. We're seated, and our waitress comes up and explains the menu tickets briefly. Asks if we want chips and dip, we say no, but she turns away to attend to the people at the bar in the middle of our response, and she walks away. I'm aware she didn't hear, or maybe forgot, but she ended up handing us chips anyway, not a big deal. It takes a while to get the tickets in, I ask if I can get something adjusted; for example, no mushrooms on an item. She says yes, so I write it down next to the designated item. We wait again. I don't have a problem with waiting, but it felt longer than necessary. Food arrives, and two of the tacos are overdone/charred slightly, and the one taco I asked for no mushrooms, had mushrooms. And to specify, the Chipotle taco was disappointing; it was incredibly dull in flavour and spice. And to top it all off, when receiving the bill, we were charged for an extra taco, so we had to get that fixed. Her reaction to being told the amount on the tab was incorrect irked me in a way. I don't want to think they would purposely charge customers extra, but from what I could read off of her, it felt like someone was getting caught in the middle of poor choices. Again, maybe it was a bad night, maybe someone was training. But I don't know, all I know is that a lot went wrong in one visit. Will not be recommending.

It’s never good when the first person you encounter, the hostess, is super rude for no reason. We went last Saturday around 5:45 and requested a table for 10. I knew it would be a long wait, but the hostess looked at me so disgusted and said “10? That’s going to be awhile”. I said okay, no problem. She told me 30-45 minutes and took my name and phone number. My husband and I went to the bar to have a drink while we waited. It took about 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us, but they were busy so it was fine. Once our order was taken, we had our drinks in 5 minutes. After 30ish minutes, two of our friends joined us at the bar and had their drink orders taken by a different bartender (one beer, one margarita). They were never served their drinks. After an hour went by, we asked the hostess if she had an idea for our wait time. Again, she looked so disgusted and said, “it’s still going to be awhile”. We decided to leave at that point since the customer service was so incredibly rude. There is absolutely no reason for employees to have such an attitude when someone politely asks a question. I wish we had left sooner. To top it off, I received a text that our table was finally ready at 7:34, nearly two hours later. I definitely would not recommend going here unless you wanted to be treated as a nuisance.

Ok tacos. Not a great beer selection. Also, as I always add, they charge 3% fee for credit cards. Will skip on my next pass through. By the way, just like all other places in OH, they do not have this posted at the entrance. OH needs to do better with its laws requiring businesses to post this.

I had a great experience here despite a little hiccup. The kitchen ran out of rice and my order ended up taking much longer than expected. But the staff was upfront, very apologetic, and made it right. Mistakes happen, and I really appreciate when a restaurant owns up to it and takes care of their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back! Also super good food. Good job Barrio Tacos.

I have never been one to write a nasty review, but if I could give less stars than one I absolutely would. In the past I have had nothing but good experiences with this location, quick service, delicious food, however, on Sunday we had the worst experience.
We arrived a little past 11, right when they opened. Our server was lovely, no complaints there. First we got our appetizer, it was ice cold, but we figured maybe it was something they served cold, and it still tasted okay, so we didn't say anything. Then it took us about a half an hour to get our drinks, again not a big deal. Then an additional 30-45 minutes for our food to come out. It comes, and it is also ice cold. I asked the waitress if they could just heat it up for us or bag it to go. She said of course and got the manager who decided to give us about 10 percent off. The manager then brings us our food in separate bags that are stapled shut and have our names on them.
This should be the end of the story, but I got home and my food was switched with my friend's. So I called and asked if they would be willing to remake it, they said of course, and that they would issue me a refund. So I go on my lunch hour and I explain the situation to the host and ask if it going to take a long time for you to remake it, I only have an hour for lunch and if it is going to be a long wait I would rather just leave and get something else since I am already getting a refund. She says she will have them rush it. A half an hour later and I still have not gotten my food. I ask, and the girl goes and gets it, but doesn't bring me my drink and says we can go make it, but I have already waited a half hour and I have to leave or I will have no time to eat the remade food. So I bring the food to my car and open it, and it is cold AGAIN. Additionally, my side order of bacon came with one piece instead of the two it is supposed to. And I pulled a massive black hair out of the tacos, my own is blonde so I am confident it is not mine.
I will never be returning to this location. I am disgusted and disappointed in Kent Barrio and hope they will do better in the future.

Waited 40 minutes to be seated while parties who came in after us got seated. Then we sat for 10 minutes at the table without a server coming to greet us so we contacted the hostess to inquire and she personally went and got us waters. 10 minutes later the server finally came over, introduced herself, and told us she “didn’t realize we had sat in her section”. She took our drink and food order at that time, including a side of guac for the chips, because we had already been there a total of almost an hour. She brought our chips quickly but the bar drinks took forever to come and 2/3 drink orders were wrong despite us mentioning the drink name at least 3-4 times to confirm she got it right and she forgot our guac and we had to wave her down and ask again for it after we had already eaten a whole basket of chips without it. She never once came back to refill our waters or check on us while we waited for the food. We got our food order after being there for a total of an HOUR and 45 MINUTES. The server didn’t even bring us the food, someone from the kitchen did, and he refilled our waters for us too because we asked. He also checked us out because at that point we needed to leave so we asked for our checks when the food came out. We quickly ate our food and left and our server never came back out to apologize for any of the inconveniences. She was face to face with us a total of 3 times during the 2 hours we were there. Also, one person in our party got her order refunded but the rest of us didn’t?? Not to mention it was hotter than hell in there and we didn’t even have water to cool us down. My group and I will gladly never return to this location.

We have been to this location 10+ times. The last 2 times we have been here, the service has gone downhill. It took over an hour and 20 minutes to get our food. The food (taco shells and meat were burnt). I would not recommend this place to anyone. This place will be closed in 2 years.
