The Basement in Brimfield

Easy to miss this great spot tucked away in a corner of the parking lot. Great spot for watching sports, fantastic service, very clean and also the comfiest barstools I have ever encountered. Wish I could come back more often, but just passing through for the holidays.

We just left the Basement Bar and Grill in Brimfield. I want to thank them for letting us use the separate room for our family of 32. The service was great and the food very good. The waitress did an outstanding job taking care of the group it was above and beyond good service. Thank you for a very pleasant experience with our large group.

The Philly rueben sandwich and fries were not what I expected. The fries were stale tasting, and the rueben was tough in spots. The place was covered in Televisions, which is understandable for a sports bar. Had basically in my face at the booth I was in. The waitress was promptly with her service but not sure prices were justified for what was served. The pop probably came out of the gun at the bar that you get your adult drinks from. It tasted off. Unless I missed it on the menu, I didn't see a steak on it.

Just sports and good food ... no politics. Highlights:
THE FOOD: Great food options. Chunks of grilled chicken in the philly sub, sitting beside the best coleslaw. The sandwiche was wrapped in tinfoil so easily rewrapped to go.
THE PRICE: I got a large philly sub, coastlaw, and mellow yellow drink for under $17. I think that's a good price ... I have paid more at a drive thru fast food restaurant for the same amount of food.
THE CONVENIENCE: They provide a place where you can put an [x] beside the tip you want, and they do the math for you. There is an ATM, but it costs to use it, so I wouldn't recommend using it.
THE PARKING: Plenty of parking and lighting.
SEATING OPTIONS: High top tables, booths, and outside seating as well as an event room. Every seat has a clear view of a large screen, so there are plenty of sporting events or sporting commentators to see.
ENTERTAINMENT: There seem to be some low-key gambling options.

Visited for the first time in years, was pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was. Ben was a great bartender, I was never without a beer, will be coming back!

Went with a large group after church. Service was very good waitress came back several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was excellent.. I have had a Philly steak, and a burnt cheese fold over the two times I was there. - both excellent. Typical sports bar atmosphere, but we got or own little room so we were able o hear each other!

Parking: Plenty of parking- in strip mall.

I just left a funeral and had a suit on, so I ordered a Buffalo pita in a wrap. I went to pick it up, and it fell apart. I was so hungry. I tried to eat half, but I couldn't. I told the waitress I didn't want it that it fell apart and I had a suit on, but she still carged me full price. When it first opened in brimfield, it was great, but the last few times I've been there, the food was terrible. I order the same thing every time. I'm not going back. Now the service it terrible. My bill was 46.13 for me and my 2 kids

We come here regularly and the service is outstanding. Megan is great, personable and friendly and makes us feel comfortable and want to come back. She provides great service and has good suggestions on the expansive menu. We have enjoyed every menu item we’ve ever had and appreciate the quality of food and service.
