I didn’t understand until after my first bite why it was a little hunger games-ish at the buffet. For being small it was all delicious. I cannot recall the last time I’ve eaten five plates of food. Here I did. I didn’t need to add anything extra. It was all fabulous on its own.
I met a friend here for lunch at 2pm on a Friday. We were welcomed and seated immediately, and our drinks were delivered very quickly. The food was hot and delicious. They were not very busy, but they were replacing food and everything was well stocked. We really enjoyed our food and our experience there. The restaurant IS dated, but I love it. Evergreen is hands down one of the most majestic places I have ever walked into. Their decor is like none other and feels super cozy. Now...let me get started on their food. The selection of food is one of the most versatile that I have ever seen in a chinese buffet restaurant. The combination of General Tso's chicken with cheese rangoon makes me go ballistic.
