We got Fifth Flavor for the first time tonight and it was amazing. We ordered the Spicy Dumplings and they are by far some of the best we have had in our travels. I cannot wait to order from here again! I am glad there is a place like this in our community.

This food truck is such a gem to find in Kent. Serving authentic Thai food, packed with amazing flavors, textures and options. Their presence on Instagram along with recommendations from Thai friends brought me to try their food. I don’t think I have found food like this in the greater Akron/Kent area. I have visited twice now, and have been very impressed about the offerings. Their vegetarian dumplings are my personal favorite, but I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any offerings on the menu. I need the recipe to the tahini sauce now. Prim, the owner and chef, is so sweet, and is worth the trek out to Kent. Cannot wait to see this business grow, and try the new spicy dumplings soon.
Vegetarian options: With their smaller menu, they have plenty of options for vegetarians. The vegetarian dumplings and eggplant unagi don are so delicious.

Awesome edition to the food scene in Kent. I ordered the eggplant dish, shrimp special, and gyoza. The mix of flavors in the dishes are rich and synergistic in ways that are rare. This is a take-out only restaurant so you may have to plan in advance. There is plenty of space in the parking lot if you want to eat in the car or you can order the food and take it to the brewery nearby.

The location is kind of tucked away, so you wouldn’t be able to notice it from the street, but there is a sign posted at the curb so you know where to turn!
Anyway, this place is amazing. You can taste the complexity of the flavor—everything is well-balanced and perfectly prepared, with high quality ingredients. Many other Thai places in the area simply don’t do the cuisine justice, with overly sweet curries that don’t really have much flavor otherwise. Not here! And the dumplings…Omg best dumplings ever. Chef Prem does monthly specials which are also to die for. She is a talented chef and a lovely person! Please support her business as her talents deserve recognition.
