Been here many times before and this was the only subpar experience. All other times it's been 5 stars. Tonight while their drinks were better than I remember and my wife was pretty happy with her food, my Brussels sprouts were just raw and bitter, and my short rib was at least half gristle. Cheesecake was fine, but nothing special (which is a bit of a let-down because I've had spectacular cheesecake here before). Will give it another try.

Creative cocktails, beautiful lush comfy leather booths and oversized chairs. Excellent atmosphere.

This bar has a speak-easy kind of vibe. It’s a very cool atmosphere with red leather, mahogany, and interesting lighting. It’s a cool place to grab a specialty cocktail or even come for dinner since the food is great too. Try the porch rocker.?

James and Becky were THE BEST. We came in late for my birthday and the kitchen was “closed“. Of course we were disappointed… But it was our fault! I told them it was my birthday and they were nothing but amazing. They made us a cold cheese and meat board that looked incredible and tasted AMAZING! Then, as a final treat for my birthday I was given a smoked cheesecake. WOW! This place is amazing and does not disappoint! We will be back and we hope we get James and Becky!

This is a great "speakeasy" vibe, with deep leather booths and dark wood. Excellent drinks and very high-quality food.

My wife and I are foodie snobs who have eaten all over the world at many of the famous restaurants. We really enjoyed the Franklin Hotel Bar. The name is slightly misleading in that it’s really a great little restaurant with a very cool bar. We had a bunch of awesome small plates including the pulled pork tostadas and the fantastic beef short rib. Elegant and honestly delicious. The wine list was also very good and more than fairly priced.

So disappointed for a place with such great reviews. Arrived at 7:30 to be told that 30% of menu was unavailable. No scallops, no flatbreads at all, no mozzarella, no guacamole. For a place with only 20 items, we discovered every item we ordered was unavailable. We ended up with the cheese and charcuterie board. Unfortunately, they ran out of bread. Seriously?! They did not even have crackers. So cheese and meat alone. Ok. Not OK! We were told that they were in transition to a new menu. Parents weekend was not the best choice of a time to transition. We were embarrassed that we chose this place for our party. Every one left hungry and made jokes that we should go to BW3 next door. Never again.

The atmosphere is superb. Nice to have a setting where you don't have to yell over the music to interact. Bartenders are great...friendly, competent, and professional. I'll be back.
