We were waiting in line behind our friends, then moved up once they ordered. I was standing in front of the register waiting to order and the girl called up her friend who was behind us. I know they were friends because they were talking before we ordered. She said she didn’t see us, which is fine though we were right in front of her. Then my husband ordered something that was on the screens (it had its own slide on the TV) and she said they no longer have that cookie. So he had to figure out what else he wanted, as the screens were not updated (not our fault). It had literally been probably 10 seconds and she asked her friend “are you ready to order? Come on up.” My husband ignored her and went ahead to start ordering, as we were next in line and mid-order. She proceeded to say “cause y’all need to hurry up” verbatim. My friends and I were so caught off guard that all we could do was laugh. We waited for quite some time to order, and due to their false advertisements WE were the ones who needed to hurry up when we ordered for a total of less than one minute. I cannot believe she just said that in front of everyone that was waiting in line. Completely uncalled for, rude and embarrassing. Our cookies were average but our experience here was a joke. Not worth the wait even a little bit.

Just walked out after waiting for 15 minutes because the two boys “working” were just folding boxes the entire time instead of helping the one woman behind the counter. There was a line out the door and online orders coming through and they just kept folding their boxes and asking people in line to move out of the way. We left purely because we felt bad for the only person who was actually working.

The cookies are great if they are fresh, but I went in on a Saturday and Sunday, and both times the cookies were harder. I'm not sure why, it sure dont look like the clerk was eating hard food.

*EDIT* THIS IS TWICE NOW MY ORDER HAS BEEN STOLEN FROM ONE OF YOUR DRIVERS! I’m not sure who it is but I got your ass going to Alliance BOTH TIMES WITH MY ORDER! So same person stealing it! Absolutely ridiculous! I will NEVER order from here again!!! And now I’m not asking, but demanding as a paying customer that somebody from upper management do something!
Please someone from upper management fix this issue with Doordash! I had my order stolen tonight by a delivery driver and I’m having a hell if a tine with support because they think you send your own drivers. And apologies to the young man I spoke to on the phone if I seemed short. From my review you can see I wasn’t too happy.

My mom ordered cookies for me as a surprise and their driver ended up handing them to the wrong person? I was outside waiting at the address that was even confirmed with me. I was an easy sight to see and it's outrageous that I had to sit outside for over an hour just for him to give my order to someone else? Then another 30 minutes to even receive my order. I hope they can get better drivers. The person on the phone was amazing though, plus the cookies were good. That's the only reason why it's a three not a one. It's safer to just never go to the Kent one.

If I could give Insomnia Cookies in Kent zero stars, I would. My experience with Insomnia Cookies in Kent was the worst experience I have ever had with a delivery service. Their driver attempted to deliver the wrong order. It was refused. He came back about 20 minutes later, and tried to deliver my order half eaten. Just avoid Insomnia Cookie in Kent - I am beyond nauseated that they tried to deliver boxes with broken seals and missing food.

Service, Cookies,.and atmosphere is always really on point and delicious. The price is insane though! Quick fix, get your craving in! Otherwise make them yourself from scratch at home would be my suggestion.

Cookies are amazing. Customer service not so much. I admittedly made an error and ordered a large order from the wrong store that was a gift. I called to cancel as soon as I figured it out and the young man who answered the phone was spectacularly unhelpful. I had two orders. One for us and a gift in Cleveland (so wrong store and needed canceled). He argued with me that I only had one order instead of probing a little to find it was under the name I gave for the gift. I suppose maybe I should have known that but I didn't. He made me feel crazy and like I was wrong so we hung up and i immediately got a text for both orders saying they were coming to my house. I called back again and spoke to the same young man who was now giving attitude. When he finally figured it out he got an attitude about canceling the order bc of the size. I know I made a mistake. I called as soon as I realized. Your job is to be helpful and polite. Find a job as an accountant or something. Stay out of Customer Service! This happened 12.7.24 around noon. So whoever was working the phone then needs to get back in the kitchen and away from the customers.

I accidentally ordered to the Kent store instead of Youngstown, I called and said they didn’t have to make my order since I ordered it to the wrong store. The guy on the phone was SO rude, I was being nice and I didn’t even need a refund, I was just calling that I wasn’t going to be picking it up. He was yelling at me and being so rude, he ended up hanging up on me too. Absolutely ridiculous!
