The food is good, but the service is trash. I felt like I was bothering the staff just to give them business. I ordered online for pickup and was told it would it would be ready by 745 pm, i walked in and the cook with the man bun, didn’t even acknowledge me, I said I have a pickup and he said, it’s going to be another 20 minutes. No explanation, so I waited the extra 20 minutes and went back in the restaurant and again the not even a look my way, stood there for another 20 minutes waiting. He finally got my food and didn’t say a word. Come on Steak-Eez, you can do better, again the food is great but the staff are horrible.
Last few times we have given our business to Steak Eez, we have been met with very poor service. Neither time were we acknowledged upon entering. We have to ask to be helped. Last time we ate in and the guy cooking was mad that we ordered. He was slamming things around, and was very upset by us placing an order, and It took forever to get our food. Tonight we decided to order online. Ordered at 7:25 said our order would be ready for pickup at 7:45, and we didn’t receive our food until almost 8:30pm. When we arrived same guy working as last time and once again we weren’t even acknowledged. Now mind you this time our order has been paid for and a very generous tip was given. Once we asked him to be helped he said it’s going to be at least another 20 mins. We came back out to the car parked in front of the window and watched him slam and throw things around as he was making the order that we already paid for. When my husband said to him dude calm down it’s not that serious, another guy walked in, and he interjected himself into the conversation and said he’s the best manager they got. MANAGER 🤣 That dude can’t even mange himself and his anger, let alone a whole restaurant. This being our 2nd time being treated like this by the same person, we will not be going back anytime soon.

they literally just make their own hours regardless of what times say online. literally one of the most inconsistent place in kent which is sad because it’s good. portions aren’t necessarily good so most times i feel like I need two sandwiches

Been a long time customer, decided to order tonight after not ordering for a few months. To my surprise, the restaurant is charging the same price for bowls that are half the size?? Food quality is still good but this will be my last time ordering.
Great food, hot and fresh, you get what you pay for here. Definitely Recommend if in Kent OH

I absolutely love this place, the menu is huge and I have never got something that wasn't delicious. When.me and my boyfriend who is a picky eater came here even he loved it. Highly recommend. The only complaint that I have is that it's a little pricy, but it's totally worth it for how much they load up your sandwich.

My first and last time ordering from this place. Ordered 3 steak subs and 2 melts with fries and 2 iced teas. Ordered was placed online and my son picked it up, got home opened the stapled bag and 1 steak was missing and one melt wasn't the one I ordered, proceed to call the restaurant. A female answered (which I now know was the manager), I started to explain the missing sub and wrong melt and she cut me off saying she bagged everything and all sandwiches were in the bag. I proceeded tell her she missed a sub when she started reading back what I ordered. I told her she didn't need to read back the order because I knew what I ordered and paid for. She proceeded to read off the receipt and my husband jumps on the phone, he tried telling again about the missing sub when I guess she realized she missed bagging the one sub. My husband than ask if she could have the sub delivered and she says no, that she will refund the missing sub. Then my husband asked if he could speak with the manager dye to her rudeness and she tells him that she is the manager. Husband asked for a corporate number she tells him he can find it himself and hung up on him! He calls back and she says the line dropped. To the owner your so called manager was very rude, she did not even apologize for the mistake and implying that I lied about receiving the sub.

Regardless of the time or day, their food always exceeds expectations. The staff is very easy going and friendly. The menu has something for everyone, and they are patient and happy to allow you to take the time to read everything. Delicious every time!

Return visitor. The food was just as good as the first time. I have added this Steak-EEZ to my must-stop place when visiting Kent. Good value as well.
