Michael and his staff catered a mimosa brunch for a wedding shower of 100 people. He planned the menu which included quiche, waffles, salads, ham, fruit and a mimosa bar. The presentation of the food, the timing of the meal, the clean up, and the staff were exceptional. I have never seen such a beautiful SALAD! The food itself tasted even better! I saw guests going for seconds and thirds. I cannot thank him enough for helping make the couple’s day so special.

Pre-event planning with Civonna was very smooth - I told her our requirements/restrictions and she built an excellent menu for us. The food was presented well and delicious! Small touches like eco-friendly cutlery were also appreciated, great attention to detail.They will be at the top of our list for future events!

I just recently had a wedding for my daughter and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. We recieved tons of compliments stating this was the best food they ever had at a wedding. The lemon chicken, bracciole, pasta bar, and tiramisu were amazing. Also, interaction with the owner was both personal and a breeze. The staff was very attentive. The only reason I gave 5 stars is because Google won't register more!

We had a WONDERFUL Dinner of the White Fish, fresh vegetables, homemade mashed potatoes and a beautiful salad, with Strawberries added! We also ordered the Corn beef, Cabbage, Vegetables, and a fresh salad! I haven’t had such an enjoyable meal, like this, in years! We will be going back very soon! It’s located in the same building as Bent Tree Coffee, on N. Water St., in Kent! Their door, is on the side of the building! Do yourself a favor, and look their weekly menu up, and place your order on line!! You will not be sorry! Thank you!!
I ordered from Taproot for a small brunch. The food was AMAZING. The cost was the same as other big box places (think Bob Evans etc) but the quality of the food was 10 times better. So glad I found this place. I order food a few times a year for work and WILL be back. Thank you for a delicious breakfast! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Taproot catered our office holiday party and did a wonderful job! The butternut squash gnocchi were a great option for vegetarians, and you should ask for the chocolate mint pots de crème- our entire group agreed they were insanely good! I'm from out of town, otherwise I'd book them for my next event.

Had family visitors from NYC. We had not been together for nearly 2 years and also were commemorating a wedding anniversary. Did not want to spend entire day cooking or go to a restaurant. A friend had recommended Taproot Catering. Michael was very accommodating. He prepared our meal on a Sunday and was flexible & helpful regarding the menu. Our meal included a salad (greens from farmers market & vinaigrette), steak & salmon (both prepared perfectly & with side sauces), grilled vegetables, fingerling potatoes, and the best strawberry shortcake we’ve ever had. Quality, quantity, & fair price exceeded expectations . I highly recommend Taproot, will order their weekly meals and think of them first when needing catering services.
